Personalized Tumblers with Beth

Good morning all of my SVG Attic friends!  This is Beth with another vinyl project for you today.
I created these personalized tumblers for the teacher aids in my son's class.  I used the Chevron Alphabet Uppercase for the monogram.  I used a font I had on my computer to type their names.  Then I added circles of random sizes in both black and white all around the tumbler.
The vinyl I used is permanent (outdoor) vinyl, but it does have a matte finish.  Normally permanent vinyl has a shiny finish, but I wanted to clarify that I did use the permanent vinyl so it would for sure stick.
These tumblers are perfect gifts for Valentine's Day, Teacher Appreciation, birthdays, Christmas, Thank You,  etc.  The list goes on and on!  Make them for your kids' teachers and fill them with markers and candy like I did.  They are sure to be a hit!

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Baby Book Box ~ with Angeline Choo

Good Day!
It's Angeline here - sharing with you something I made for a friend.
We were celebrating her baby, Eryn's Full Moon (when the baby turns 1 month old) so I had made this box to put in our gifts for her.

This cute book is actually a BOX! Can you believe it? :)

I have tied the box together with a ribbon to close it up.

Here's a close up on the book cover that I made with lots of flowers and some cute alpha Thickers.

And here's a peek inside on what we got for Eryn. Cute onesies with a card of course. :)

I have used a legacy kit "Nevermore" to make this book box. Don't worry - they are not gone! :)
They are being reworked right now and will be back on the site once it is updated.

Hope you've enjoyed this project.
Happy scrappy week ahead :)

Circuit Board Valentine Card with Beth

Good morning SVG Attic friends!  I have a brother who loves all things technology related and works in IT.  I immediately thought of him when I saw this card from SVG Attic's Love Letters kit.
It was extremely simple to create!  I added liquid pearl dots in the ends of the white areas to resemble the soldering on real circuit boards.  I attached the USB drive with Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine.
Here is a look at the whole Love Letters kit...This card is the first thing I have made from this kit, but it definitely won't be the last!  Look at all of those fun elements!  That mailbox is SO amazing!
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Coffee and Love

For today's project I created a 12x12 mixed media canvas

Since love is on every one's mind these days.  I thought I would combine coffee and love.  I collaged papers that had coffee related words as well as some pink dots and cupcakes.  I also used acrylic paints, glass bead paste, stamps, stencils, washi tape and glossy accents on the heart.

The SVG file I used was All I Need.  The description says "vinyl design perfect for your wall or to mount on a board, tile, or mirror."  It was intended to be cut out of vinyl, but I used paper in different colors instead

I modified the file by adding the word LOVE to the bottom from

This is a closeup of the top

This is a closeup of the bottom

There are so many ways to use these files, I hope I have given an idea so you can create something new today.

Thanks for coming by.

Go create something awesome!!

Milestone Cake ~ with Cyndy

I hope everyone enjoyed the Hop this past weekend!  We sure enjoyed hosting.  Congratulations to the winners.  I hope to see some of your projects on our facebook page.

This weekend my sister celebrated a milestone, she turned 40.  I wanted to make her something special.  So I searched Google and came across a milestone cake.  I started thinking, I could do something like that, not baking it, out of paper.

I had fun deciding what to put on the cake.

I am pleased with how it turned out.  I used the following kits to create this cake:

SDS 3D Cake Box Kit
Be Mine - Rose
Classic Wedding SVG Collection - Bride & Groom
SDS Flourished Spring - Trees & Clouds
JGW Nativity Boxes Holy Family - Baby
JGW House Rules - House

I also used two files that are legacy kits and are being reworked.  They will be back on the site once they have been updated.  Aged to perfection and Feel Better Soon.

I best thing about doing a project that takes several kits is that we are having a 25% off sale right now.  So you can stock up on some of the kits you have been wanting to get.

It has been fun sharing with you today.

At each stop of the hop we hope you will be inspired by the creativity of the design teams of SVG Attic and Snapdragon Snippets. You are sure to find many wonderful projects that will be at the top of your crafting lists!

This is the first stop on the hop!

Here is the project I created:

I used a 12" x 24" porcelain tile that I purchased at Lowe's as the base and added brown and gold vinyl.  The file that I used for this project is called Be Kind.  It included the frames and the word "LOVE".  The words in gold were ones that I created on my own with my cutting software.

This tile is very fitting for Valentine's Day decor, but would also be a stunning wedding gift!

How how about some blog hop prizes??

$15 Gift Certificate to SVG Attic

Sound the Alarm ~ Firetruck Treat Bags ~ with Courtney

Today on the blog today I have a cute little treat bag.

I had this idea in my head and really wanted to make it work.  I searched the SVG Attic website for just the right bag.  I found it here.  It's the mini treat bag from the Monstrously Munchie Party Kit.  I enlarged it to fill the 12 x 12 mat.  For the firetruck front, I used the front pieces only from the Firetruck box card from the Sound the Alarm Card Kit.  I filled the bag with Hershey kisses in a cello bag and closed the bag with a simple gingham ribbon bow.

This treat bag was a fun cut and piece together project, that did not require a lot of work.  I am just crazy about glitter tape and used that on the front of the truck. As well as some bling.  The windows have clear overhead projector sheets cut and glued inside.

I loved the way it turned out.  I hope you do too.

Thank you for stopping by.

Have a fabulously crafty day ! ♥

Let's Take Off ~ with Angeline Choo

Hi. It's Angeline sharing with you today's project I made using the "Ready for Take Off" kit.

When I saw this plane - I had to make it! I absolutely love how huge it is. The wing spans about 11 inches long.

Oh and did you know the propeller actually moves?

Need a gift for your boy or man? This would be perfect! :)

Have an awesome week ahead.

Feel Better Box

It's flu and cold season once again this year and what better way to make someone feel better than to give them a box full of tea and chocolate.

I took a cigar box, like the one here:

and transformed it into this:

I mod podged designer paper on all sides, pink and white doilies, and added stamped images and molding paste through a snowflake stencil.  I added some distress ink to the paste to make it pink, ribbons, and bakers twine for the banner.  I also added some pearls to the snowflakes.  The clear knob is from my stash as well as the metal corners.

The Get Better banner is from the Nested Alphabet file.  I resized the letters to fit the front of the box and layered them with three different colors of paper.

The bear on the front is from the Frosty Friends file.  I added felting powder to the bear paper to add texture.

For the inside of the box, I added a tag with a sentiment from Unity Stamp to cover up the knob's screw and stamped snowflakes all over.  I also added a piece of felt to the bottom of the box.

I also made a bear card is from Frosty Friends.  I stamped a sentiment from Unity Stamps inside.

I covered the tea bags with tissue paper, added a snowflake, and ribbon through the hole.  I did the same for the chocolate bar, yumm!

And so there you have a  feel better box full of tea and chocolate for someone under the weather, or make it for yourself; it should make you feel better every time you open a tea bag and boil yourself a cup!

Until next time, keep warm and cozy!
