Religious Cards with Beth

Beth from Beth's Beauties here today, and I am posting two different cards, but they are both very similar.  They are both for religious occasions and use the chalice and host files from SVG Attic's Communion of Faith kit.

The first card was created as an invitation for my son's First Communion.  Actually I made 10 of these cards!  It was so worth it though.  They were elegant and everyone loved them.
I embossed the cup and the base of the chalice and used foam tape under different pieces for added dimension.  I added Krazy for Kraft and Chocolate Truffle Trendy Twines along the left side.  The patterned papers I used were open stock papers from Hobby Lobby.  LOVE their religious selection of papers!

On to card #2.  This one could be used for many religious occasions.  I used the same die cuts as in the first card, but I also added the Flourished Cross in the background.
I added Chocolate Truffle twine around the base and added a small stamped tag.  I used brown chalk ink around the edges of the die cuts.
The layers were once again popped up with foam tape.  The patterned papers are from Hobby Lobby.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Thank you Gift Totes by Tanya

Hello and Happy Monday! Tanya from Crafting on Caffeine her and today is my day to hopefully share some inspiration with you.  I have a cute thank you gift to show you.

I used the Pint gift tote from SVG Attic "JGW Neighbor Gift Set" and shrank it down a bit (didn't want to put that much candy in it, hahaha)  I love that it has the clear window option to be able to cut out! This was so easy to put together! The tag is also part of this set, isn't that great! The hardest part was deciding colors. Haha.

Here is a list of the rest of what was used to pull these treats together!
KaDoodle Bug Designs - JPEG Cutie KaToodles Girl Cow I added a bit of white gel and some glossy accent on the eyes and a bit "Wink of Stella" on the red bows.
Rumple Ribbon is from Lovebug Creations. She doesn't have a website anymore but you can get ahold of her via FB.

Happy Crafting! And please share with us on Facebook what you create!

Raggedy Andy ~ with Cyndy

For my project today I decided to make the Raggedy Andy Canister from the JGW Spring Canisters set.  I just love this guy.  I have always loved the whimsy of Raggedy Ann and Andy!

Raggedy Ann doll and Raggedy Andy 3d paper canister

He makes a pretty sizable box.  He stands over eight inches tall.

He has the cutest face.

I love his pinned heart.

Jodi stayed so true to the character of Andy, he was a joy to make.  I bet you know someone who would love receiving him!  I know I will be making several of these for my family :)

Flower Gift Box ~ with Angeline Choo

Good day everyone! :)

Angeline from ScrappyScrappy sharing with you my project for this week.
I have made a gift box using the Band Aid Gift Box from the "Feel Better Soon" kit.

SVG Attic: Flower box with Angeline Choo #svgattic #scrappyscrappy #giftbox #flowers

Somehow by adding the flowers from the "Autumn Splendor" kit and with the green patterned paper I chose, it looks like flowers on a lily pad :)

I also added some washi tape, lace trims and liquid pearls for that extra detail to the gift box.

Teachers' Apple Treat Boxes with Beth

Where I live, the school year will be over in one month.  Yikes!  I am planning for teacher appreciation gifts right now, so I am not scrambling at the last minute trying to figure something out to give them. (FYI- Teacher Appreciation week is May 4-8 this year.)
When I came across these sweet apple treat boxes, I knew they would be perfect!  They are from SVG Attic's Gearing Up 4 School set.  I stuffed them with candy, because after teaching small children all day, I am sure teachers appreciate a little chocolate break now and then :)
I made the boxes in different colors and used DCWV's Grade School stack for the patterned paper.
I added fun buttons and twine on the top and they were finished!  I can add a tag with the teacher's name on them if I decide to.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Mom's Garden Gift

Happy Monday!  Tanya with Crafting on Caffeine and today is my day to share some inspiration with you. With Mother's day the next holiday coming up I thought I would put together this gift idea.  I love this kit.  I used the terra-cotta pot and garden shovel from SVG Attic's JGW Gaby's Garden

I just love how well designed the pot is! It really looks like it's a real pot!

I had a bit of a time finding the "perfect" paper for the seed packets. So I thought, why don't I just make my own. So I used Jaded Blossom Stamps that match the seeds and created away. Love how it turned out!

Here is the rest of what I used to put this gift together:

Thanks for stopping by, and Happy Crafting!

Spring is in the Air ~ with Cyndy G.

I just love this time of year!  If it weren't for the pollen I would be outside all the time.  Today I decided to make a gardening set.  I used elements from JGW Gaby's Garden.  Such a cute set!

Paper Garden hat, spade and pot in garden

Of course with Spring here, we all know Summer is right around the corner.  With that comes bathing suit season, ugh!  So I thought instead of candy I would put little seed packets in the pot.  Wouldn't this make a nice gift for someone you know who likes to garden.

Paper spade

I used paper from Graphic 45, Time to Flourish.  This paper is so pretty and has some lovely spring colors.

I hope you have enjoyed my project today and it has given you some new ideas to try.  Happy spring.
