Thank A Techie Today

Have you had your computer break down and a nice techie friend fixed it for you?  Now you can thank him with a card made especially for him or her.

I used the Love Letters SVG Circuitry Valentine Card and converted it to a Thanks card using a free font and my Make The Cut program.

I used glimmer cardstock for the background and it makes the word "thanks" pop!  I especially like the USB flashdrive that is included.  I think it looks so realistic

I hope you get many ideas to use this card.  It was a blast creating it and it will come in handy when I need to thank my techie friend, again!

Thanks for stopping by to visit and have fun creating!

Owl EOS Lip Balm ~ with Courtney

HI ~ up on the SVG Attic blog today I have a few super cute EOS lip balms cards.

Everyone has been so clever in using the capsules and I wanted to try them out also.

I used a sweet little owl from the  Give a Hoot SVG Collection.  I centered and inserted a 1.460 inch circle from the basic shapes library before cutting and then cut as normal.

They were so fun to make and I really liked how they turned out.  I have purchased a few more capsules and can't wait to find another cute way to use them.

I hope you enjoyed my project.

Thank you so looking ♥

Have a fabulously crafty day!!

Once Upon A Springtime - Book ~ with Cyndy

I was very excited when Graphic 45 started releasing Collector's Editions.  I knew it was only a matter of time before Once Upon A Springtime would be released.  Luckily I didn't have to wait very long and I knew just what I wanted to make.

3d paper book with a book and fairies in a spring setting.

I used the Santa's List Gift Card Book from SDS Santa's Workshop.  I love all the dimensional projects I have seen using this paper and I felt this book set off the title page perfectly!

Open book with a scene of fairies and beautiful flowers around a book in the forest

I left out the gift card holder and eliminated the center side of both halves.  This allowed me to use the book as a frame.

I hand cut the pieces I wanted to add dimension too and used foam tape to pop them out.

I just love how everything turned out!  Thank you for stopping by, I hope you enjoyed my project.

Good Luck Shamrock Card with Beth

I am sharing a good luck card I recently made.  It would make a perfect St. Patrick's Day card too with a different sentiment.   This card was created from SVG Attic's Lucky Me kit.
I embossed the shamrock with a circle embossing folder and added gold and green sequins around it. I added a border of Limeade Trendy Twine by wrapping it under the brads in the corners of the card.   The sentiment tag was finished off with a bow of twine.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

A Mailbox For Your Wedding Guest Cards

Hello my crafty friends.  For today's post I made this 3D Mailbox from the Love Letters SVG File  Isn't this cute!!  It's the exact replica of a real mailbox.  It's very study and comes with a flag, front and back rims, and handle.

I used these colors because my niece chose them for her wedding and I really loved the combination

I also used the Full Split Monogram File for the letter L for the front of the mailbox as well as the inside.  You can purchase the whole alphabet set, or buy the letters individually.  For the LUCERO I used the free font Typography Times Regular.

Here you can see the mailbox opened with the wedding guest cards inside.
The opening will accept card envelopes up to 5x7 inches

I also added the Mr. and Mrs. cut from the Mr and Mrs. Page Kit
On the flag I stamped "Thank You" on both sides.

Be sure you account for the flag on the side panel when you add your own words, otherwise the flag will obstruct the Mr and Mrs, as in my case, but I also added it to the other side as you can see here:

For the name marquee, I cut out the 2015 using the same free font and added it to both sides as well.

Or you can add "Established" and the "Date" of the wedding.

And finally the back of the mailbox.  Isn't this fun?  It has the same openings as a real mailbox.  I added the a ribbon since the ribbon cannot be added to the front because of the handle.

I used the Spellbinders Mini Blooms and leaves to cut out the flowers and I attached them to the front and back rims.

So there you have it a 3D mailbox that can be used for many occasions - just let your imagination run wild.

This is where you can find the Tutorial for this mailbox.

Until next time; happy craftying!!

Sweet Valentine's Day Bags with Beth

Good morning!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here.  There are only two days until Valentine's Day...do you have all of your last minute treats done?  Well, I just finished mine and wanted to share them with you.
These adorable treat bags are a file from SVG Attic's Sweetest Heart collection.  I used paper from DCWV's Dear Jane stack.  I love those pale pink prints!
These bags are extremely easy to assemble.  The hardest part of this whole project was deciding on what candy to buy so it matched the bag :)  I hope my boys' teachers enjoy them!
Have a wonderfully crafty day!

Baby's Diaper ~ with Angeline Choo

A big HELLO to all! :) It's Angeline here - sharing with you some mid-week inspiration.

When I saw the SDS Rockabye Baby cards set, I knew I had to create something with it. It's baby booming season so having some baby cards in hand would always come in handy.

I made this diaper card - combining it with the baby bottle & greeting.

Here's a close up! :)

I absolutely love this set and I can think of baby showers, invites, parties, birthdays... so many possibilities!

If you made something from this kit, do remember to post it on our FB SVG Attic Fanatics group.

Have a scrappy fun week ahead!

Cinderella's Carriage ~ with Courtney

Up today on the blog I have Cinderalla's Carriage.
I had so much fun making this.  Adding all the bling made the carriage become so magical.

I used the carriage from the Bridal Shower Kit Collection and cut it exactly as it imported onto the 12 x 12 cutting mat.
I used some glitter cardstock for the window curtains and wheels.
It is a very nice size box.
Ideal for center pieces for your next princess party.
Thank you for looking!
Have a fabulously crafty day !

Lots of Hearts Valentine Card with Beth

I always send out Valentine's Day cards to my family and this year I decided to go with one from SVG Attic's Vintage Valentine set.
I kept it fairly simple since I was making multiples of it.  The background is a light cream cardstock that I thought went well with the kraft banner.
I had to use some of my DCWV Glitzy Glitter paper for the cut out hearts.  The bow of Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine  was perfect to match the colors of the card.
The hearts in the top right corner are bent up on the edges for extra dimension.  I also inked around the edges of the card with tan chalk ink to distress it a little.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Sweets For My Sweet ~ with Cyndy

I can't believe Valentines day is just twelve days away.  Are you still looking for that perfect valentine?  SVG Attic has just what you are looking for.  Today I'm sharing the Heart Shaped Tin Box from the JGW Vintage Valentine kit and the Love Card from SDS Blooming Love.

Paper heart box and Love card

If you look closely at the box you will see that it has straight edges all the way around.  I love that and for anyone who is circle challenged like me, this is the box for you.  For an extra touch I added roses from the Be Mine kit.

Close up of love tag and flowers on heart shaped box

I love how quickly the Love card went together and it looks amazing.  Honestly, it took me twice as long to pick out the paper for this.  There are just four layers to put together and "bam" you have a beautiful card to give to your loved one.

Love card

I used some beautiful paper from Heartfelt Creations that I picked up at a scrapbooking convention a couple of years ago.

Kits used:
JGW Vintage Valentine kit
SDS Blooming Love
Be Mine kit

I hope you have a wonderful Valentine's day.
