Wine Anyone?

Hello, and happy Monday! Tanya from Crafting on Caffeine here today. First of all you all know by now that I love my coffee! But at the end of the day sometimes it's nice to have a glass of wine.
I have being eyeing this Wine Cask from SVG Attic - Aged To Perfection for a while now and so when I saw someone make the grapes from JGW Communion of Faith I knew what I wanted to do! Hope you enjoy!

I am having so much fun using my eBrush on everything! I also used my Cut n' Boss to emboss the wood grain straps and the top and bottom of the barrel.  The grapes were a little time intensive but I think you will agree, totally worth it!

I also used Trendy Twine's Twisted Lime and Purple Licorice

Thank you for stopping by. Check back soon and have a great day!

Jolly Old Saint Nicholas, Lean Your Ear This Way ~ with Cyndy G

Can you believe it is time to start thinking about Christmas.  I remember as a child going to the mall and seeing Santa's Chair with the sign saying when he would arrive.  Still to this day I get a little excited when I see his chair sitting awaiting his arrival.  So you can imagine my delight when I saw the new kit JGW Santas Repose!  I choose to do Santa's Chair.

3d svg Santa's Chair

I love this over-sized chair.  From the extra cushion on the back to the rolled arms.

Close up of Santa's Chair

Isn't this paper cute!  It is Maja Design - Vintage Winter, it is made in Sweden but there are a couple of scrapbook supply stores on-line that sell it here in America.  It has a very nice weight and works well with these projects.

In Jodi's design of this chair she has this Santa tag on the front but
I didn't want to cover up my cute paper so I put mine on the back.

Back of Santa Chair

I just love this tag.  The detail is wonderful!

And the best part of the chair is that the bottom comes off and you can fit a gift card in it.

I hope you have enjoyed my project today.

Do what inspires you,
Cyndy G.

Big Top Fun with Lisa

Happy Friday everyone! Lisa from The Crafting Cave bringing you some
BIG TOP FUN here at SVG Attic Blog.
SVG Attic Sweet Shop, SVG Attic Star Spangled 4th

"The Ringmaster's Hat".

I love this for a Circus themed party favor.
I used my cameo to cut the Uncle Sam's Hat out, assembled
it using Scotch Quick Dry Adhesive, and then decorated it.
Fun and easy!
So the wheels were turning and I decided to create a party set.
Next up, popcorn! You have to have it at the Circus, right?
SVG Attic Sweet Shop, SVG Attic Star Spangled 4th
I used SVG Attic's Sweet Shop Popcorn Treat Basket. And to hold a few
Circus peanuts I used SVG Attic's Sweet Shop Treat Boxes.

Again, I used my Cameo to cut the files out, Scotch Quick Dry Adhesive to
assemble, and a bit of twine around the popcorn basket and the ends of the
treat box.  The paper and stickers are by Carta Bella.

So very Blessed - with GD Julie

Hello, crafty friends!  Julie here today from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers with my last guest designing post of the month. I have so enjoyed my time, and thank Beth and her wonderful team for this opportunity!

Yesterday, I had lunch with two of my best friends.  I made two of these treat bags, filling them with chocolate - and love.

This gift bag is part of the JGW Sweetest Heart kit. It is the Heart Window Tall Tote.  I cut the bag out exactly as sized, using my Silhouette Cameo.

This bag is the perfect size to hold a few chocolates.  I think it's also perfect for any time of year to show affection and friendship.  My two friends loved them and the chocolate didn't last long!

I have a gift certificate from SVG Attic I am giving away.  Please visit my blog for a chance to win, leave a comment, and become a follower.

You can find more gift bags, plus lots of other wonderful SVG files in the SVG Attic store.  Have you joined the SVG Attic Fanatics group on Facebook? You'll find lots of inspiration, great conversations, and fun there.

Thanks again to SVG Attic for this great opportunity!  I've enjoyed every minute of it!

An Apple for the Teacher

Good Morning all! Tanya from Crafting on Caffeine and today is my I-Team Day. Since we are gearing up for school again I thought I would make an apple gift card box for the teacher to show you.

To put this together I used two collections.  The apple gift card box is from the JGW Pantry Preserves Card Kit.

The words "Teacher" and "Thank you" are from SDS Gearing Up 4 School.

For the leaf I used 3 Girl Jam Crinkle Ribbon.
I also used Trendy Twine Lemon Peppermint (my fav color right now.)

Hope this gives you some inspiration to create some treats of your own for the teachers. Please make sure you share them with us, we love seeing what you make as well!

Back to School Blog Hop

Welcome to the SVG Attic-3 Girl JAM Back to School blog hop!  We are so excited to have you join us today!

At each stop of the hop we hope you will be inspired by the creativity of the design teams of SVG Attic and 3 Girl JAM. You are sure to find many wonderful projects that will be at the top of your crafting lists.

This is the first stop in our hop, where it all begins!

Here is the project I created:

Beth from Beth's Beauties here, and I created a shadowbox for a teacher using files from SVG Attic's G is for Gratitude set.
I had so much fun embellishing it!  I added a pencil and a cross paperclip in the top left corner.  I tied a double bow around the pencil using Red Ribbon Candy and Hot Chocolate Crinkled Ribbons.
In the top right corner, I tied a bit of Grey Gray crinkled ribbon around a crayon.
I added a strip of ruler washi tape around the whole outside of the shadowbox.
Last, but not least, I glued an eraser at the bottom for the finishing touch.  The papers I used are from DCWV's new DIY Project Stack: Chalk Party.

Now how about some blog hop prizes??

Garden Goddess ~ with Cyndy

It seems like just a few weeks ago summer was starting and now kids are starting to go back to school.  Don't forget tomorrow is the SVG Attic and 3 Girl JAM Back to School Blog Hop.  There will be plenty of inspiration for your Back to School projects and prizes!

For my project today I decided to make the Garden Goddess Canister from the JGW Summer Canister kit.

3d lady gardener box - Graphic 45 - Home Sweet Home

I used Graphic 45, Home Sweet Home papers.  They fit this project perfectly.

Close up of garden seed packets

I substituted the flower pot that comes with the file with the seed packets
from one of the sheets of Graphic 45 paper.

Close up of face.

She has a sweet face.  I added a touch of chalk to give her rosy cheeks.

Close up of garden hat.

I really like her little garden hat.  I added some ribbon I received from
3 Girl Jam.  I love the crinkle ribbon, it is very light and easy to use.

I hope you have enjoyed my project today and please join us for the blog hop tomorrow.

Do what inspires you,
Cyndy G.

Monogrammed Photo Album with Beth

Good morning friends!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here.  Today I am sharing a photo album that I decorated for a gift.

I used the "M" from SVG Attic's Split Monogram and cut it out from black vinyl.  You can purchase the whole monogram set HERE or the single letters are also available.  The "M" is available HERE.
I used Times New Roman font for the last name.  The pretty papers I used to layer with are from DCWV's Black Currant stack.  The album had an opening in the front to slide this insert into.  It has a layer of plastic in front to protect it as well.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Birthday i-Card with Angeline

Happy Monday!
Angeline here to share with you a techie card I made for my brother.

I used the "Here's to you dad" kit and made this "iphone" card.
This kit was meant for Father's Day but I turned it into a birthday card instead.

SVG Attic: Birthday i-card with Angeline #svgattic #scrappyscrappy #birthdaycard

I personalized the date to reflect my brother's birthday and also added the notification circle at the message icon to show like "You've got a message" :) [Like "You've got mail"... get it? haha]

SVG Attic: Birthday i-card with Angeline #svgattic #scrappyscrappy #birthdaycard

Now let's hope my brother loves it! :)

Back To School with Lisa

Hi everyone! Lisa from The Crafting Cave bringing you a little

SVG Attic Back To School Step Card and Gift Card Book
Add caption

These cut files will save you a lot of time and headache.
SVG Attic Back To School Step Card and Gift Card Book
I used SVG Attic's Back to School to create all the cutouts.
Lots of cutting and layering but the end result was worth it.
SVG Attic Back To School Step Card and Gift Card Book

SVG Attic Back To School Step Card and Gift Card Book
I decided this card needed a book filled with gift cards and flash cards
I laid the flash cards out in the picture but they will actually store under the gift cards.
SVG Attic Back To School Step Card and Gift Card Book
The flash cards are by SnapDragon Snippets, you can purchase them in the
Silhouette Store. They are a print and cut item but I used my sketch pen
and then cut them. I absolutely love my sketch pens for times like this.
I don't have to run to the printer. I can do everything at once saving me some time.
I laminated them too.

The paper is from my stash. It's old (2009), Martha Stewart
Kids 12x12 Paper Pad. The stamp is by Kaisercraft, another oldie.

Thank you for popping in and having a look.
Have a great crafty weekend!
