Spring is in the Air ~ with Cyndy G.

I know some of you are still getting snow but here in the South, the flowers are starting to bloom!  Today I decided to share a spring project and with Easter right around the corner - it's very early this year - it's time to start thinking spring.

The egg is the pineapple out of the JGW Tropical Haven kit.  I hinged the top with one of the decorative panels.  Instead of gluing the tab over the top of the egg, I glued it to the lid. The paper on the egg is from Graphic 45, Once Upon a Spring Time.  This is one of my favorite stacks!

The bird is from the SDS Home Tweet Home kit.  He is a little box.  I shrunk mine down to 2" so he would fit in the egg.  I just love how he turned out.  Thank you for stopping by today.

Do what inspires you,
Cyndy G.

Trio of Trio Cards with Beth

Hello my crafty friends!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here, and I decided to make three cards since I needed to get more of those made!
First up is a card that is going to my sister and brother-in-law as today they finalize the adoption of their sweet little princess!  It is a great day for all of us :)  The Crown Trio card file comes from the JGW Off To The Ball set.  I popped the center crown up with foam tape and embellished the card with sequins and Tickled Pink Trendy Twine.  These patterned papers are from DCWV's Nana's Nursery Baby Girl stack.
Next, I created the Easter Egg trio card that is in the JGW Happy Easter set.  Easter is only a month away and I knew I needed to get motivated on those Easter cards!  The eggs are popped up with foam tape and I added three pearls by the sentiment.  The patterned papers are from the Dear Lizzy Neapolitan paper pad.
Finally, I created the pencil trio card from JGW Campus Capers.  This one will be great to write a note to a teacher or even save it for Teacher Appreciation Week later this spring.
I embossed the pencils with a linear embossing folder, popped the pencils up with foam tape, and added Totally Black Trendy Twine at the bottom to look like writing.  These patterned papers are from DCWV's Grade School stack.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Happy-Go-Lucky with Lisa

Hello, SVG Attic Fans! Lisa from, In The Crafting Cave, sharing four quick
St. Patrick's Day Cards. I created all four cards using the SDS Lucky Me Kit.
There's a lot of great elements in this kit.

This is an image of St. Patrick's Day Card using SVG Attic Lucky Me Kit
This kit makes it super easy to create shaker cards.  For the two shaker cards I used
Doodlebug Pot O' Gold 6 x 6 Paper Pad, green and white sequins, gold flecks in the shaker, stamped and embossed sentiment on the top card.

This is one of my favorites. Stamping acetate and using it for the card base gives that
WOW factor, for sure!  Using StazOn Opaque Ink, I stamped the acetate randomly with
a shamrock stamp and sentiment, then layered the white and patterned paper. You can
add a white panel on the inside for note or cut out two of the white stamp/shamrock shapes adhere the second to the inside of the card and write a message on it. Adds a unique element to your card.

And as always, a CAS card. Kraft cardstock for the base layered with white and patterned papers finished off with white enamel dots. Join me on my blog for all the details!

As always, thanks for stopping by.
Have an amazing crafty weekend!

Top of the Morning and Charmingly Green with Christi

St. Patrick's  Day is right around the corner and I thought I would take two of my favorite kits and make some of my favorites in them for house decorations.

We will start with the SDS Charmingly Green Collection.

I made the Pot O' Gold Box out of AC Black Cardstock and filled it with yummy Chocolate gold pieces.  (Which by the way is NOT easy to find in my town for some reason.)    I then put the pretty Irish ribbon I got on clearance at JoAnn's last year after St. Patrick's Day.  ( I LOVE a bargain! )

I then made the 3d Leprechaun Hat.  I used AC Cardstock Shamrock Green and topped it with glitter paper and used Gold foil cardstock for the belt buckle.

Last but far from least JGW Top O the Mornin' Collection.

With this collection I made for my centerpiece the Large Shamrock on a stick.  I LOVED how this turned out!  I again used Shamrock AC cardstock  and  My Minds Eye Printed cardstock from my stash.  I topped it off with green gems on the front of the box and on the swirls of the clover but in the picture they are hard to see.  I then tied that same wonderful bargain ribbon on the stem.

My only hope is I gave you some inspiration to decorate for St. Patty's day!

I have enjoyed my time as guest designer here at SVG Attic and thank you all for having me!  Until next time!

Blessings,

I want to invite you to SVG Attic's Birthday Bash blog hop on Saturday, February 20th!

St. Patrick's Day Treats ~ with Cyndy G

Happy Friday everyone.  For those of you in the thick of all this bad weather and those that are lucky enough not to be, I have a very quick and easy project for you today.  It is the Leprechaun Handle Tote from JGW Leprechaun Chase kit.

St Patrick's day treat bags

I used papers from Doodle Bug.  They are so cute on these bags.
I know the kids are going to love these

Treat bag

I changed out the Leprechaun for the pot of gold on my bag with the rainbow paper.

I hope everyone has a wonderful Valentines Day this Sunday.  Happy crafting!

Cyndy G.

Heart Top Boxes with Beth

Good morning!  Beth from Beth's Beauties with you today.  My project is Valentine treat boxes for my sons' teachers.
I used the heart gift box file from SVG Attic's Be Mine set.  Those boxes can really hold a lot of candy!  I made them in two different color schemes, but kept a pink theme with them both.
The first one is made with cream cardstock and DCWV's Mercury Glass stack. The second is made using DCWV's Happy Day stack.
For the tag on them both, I used a file from the JGW Canning Essentials kit.  I added some stamps and Trendy Twine to tie them onto the boxes.
Here is a view of the top, the prettiest part of the box!  You can see the hearts when it is all folded closed.

If you are new to SVG Attic, here are some fun places to check out!

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Chinese New Year Flowers with Angeline

Happy Chinese New Year!
It's the FIRST day of the lunar new year and right now, I'm meeting up with loved ones and feasting away :)

So, to usher in the beautiful new year, I made this bouquet of lilies from JGW Flower Boxcard Bouquets.

SVG Attic: Chinese New Year Flowers with Angeline #svgattic #scrappyscrappy #flowers #boxcard #card #svg #cutfile #diecut

I chose RED because it is the traditional colors for the new year and it's BRIGHT! :)

I also handwritten the word  which means fortune or good luck and embossed it in gold on the tag. I also added some Viva Decor liquid pearls and tied it with some Trendy Twine in Lemon Peppermint.

3 Fun and Easy Valentine's Day Projects with Lisa

Hi everyone! Lisa with you today, from In the Crafting Cave with Lisa.
Since Valentine's Day is upon us I decided to show you three projects that you can easily use for that someone special! Using the  JGW Ho Ho Holiday Candy Dispenser, SDS Blooming Love - Love Card and JGW Batwing Brew Cauldron Hidden Gift Card Holder I created these projects for you.
This is an image of a Candy Dispenser and Love card using SVG Attic files.

The JGW HO HO Holiday Candy Dispenser can be used for any occasion. It's one of those files
I love having in my arsenal for that very reason and it's easy to assemble. Perfect for those last minute
gifts.

Another great file to have on hand. Love is not just Valentine's Day or Sweetest Day, love is everyday and this card is super easy to work with.

This is an image of JGW Batwing Brew Cauldron brewing a love potion

If a witch can brew potions, then I say, so can Cupid! And let's face it, Love Potion is way better than Gross Potion, right? This gift card holder is easy to make, has some layering but nothing complicated. I decided for the bubbling brew I would use designer papers but you could easily use pink, white and reds, instead. For the Love Potion Sentiment I used my faithful Sketch Pens.

You can join me over on my blog, In the Crafting Cave with Lisa, for a complete list of supplies with links.

As always, thank you for joining us. I hope I inspired you to dig in those SVG Attic files and come up with something fun and creative. Also, join us on Facebook, at SVG ATTIC FANATICS, where you can find inspiration, share your projects, and stay up to date on files.
