My Punny Valentine

Happy Sunday and YAY! - We almost made it through January (for me one of the longest months of the year)
Today I want to share with you a little something I brewed together last night. Just something that hopped into my head as I was trying to find new projects to make.
As I've said before - I'm soooo not into Valentines Day. And I still ain't but......I just couldn't help myself on this little fellow

The 3D To-Go-Coffee Cup is from SDS Coffee Break.

I made it from AC Cardstock in White and Chestnut and decorated it with a sleeve I made from Doodlebug Design Paper Cream & Sugar.

I also decorated the cup with some hearts - one is the Heart Zipper Ornament from SnapDragon Snippets that I made from AC Cardstock in Latte and decorated with Doodlebug Design Paper also from Cream & Sugar and used some grey and black shiny paper from the zipper. I just left out the back piece with the hole for hanging.

The other heart is just a duplicate of the Latte heart from above, where I wrote the sentiment with a Silhouette Sketch Pen in brown.

Now to hide it from that special someone who is going to receive this on Feb. 14th., because I love him as much as I do coffee LOL.

Thanks for joining me today and Happy Valentines Day to all of you who celebrate this day.

Paper Fun Part 2

Hello all. I-team member Sonja here with the second part to the Paper Fun set. If you missed out on part 1, you can find it here: Paper Fun Part 1

Originally this was all going to be one big set, but I decided these masks just really needed to have their own moment! I modified the original file to make a man's mask as well.
The Masquerade Mask can be found either on SnapDragon Snippets site or in the Silhouette Store.  The mask is also part of the JGW Night Enchantments kit.

For Christmas, I got an embossing powder starter kit. I originally planned on detailing the mask with the gold powder, however I felt that gold from DCWV's Glitzy Glitter stack would be better to match the masks to the shoes and champagne glasses from the first post.
I did however add some of the embossing powder to the teardrop cutouts on each mask

As well as the circles on the female mask.
With the original file, I was able to take the princess crown off and modify the mask to how I wanted a males mask to look.
It really was just a wing it sort of thing in Silhouette Studios!

 Female Mask

 Male Mask

The flowers (black and gold) match the flowers on the shoes and champagne flutes.

Snowflake Warm Hearts Card with Beth

Good Monday Morning!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here with you today to share this wintery card.
I created it using the Snowflake Cutaway Two-Fold A7 card from SnapDragon Snippets.  It is also part of SVG Attic's amazing JGW Snowflake Stars kit.  It was a very straight forward card to assemble.  The papers I used were from Craft Smith's Ice Crystals stack and DCWV's Glitzy Glitter stack.  I tied the card shut with Totally White Trendy Twine.
The sentiment was cut with dark brown vinyl.  I love cutting sentiments out of vinyl because it always cuts flawlessly and the adhesive is already on the back!  Since transfer tape is used, no worries about spacing either :)
Here is a look at the card all opened up.  I embellished the snowflake with White Nuvo Crystal Drops.  Adhesives used include ATG and Lineco Adhesive in a precision tip bottle.  More details can be found on my blog.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Paper Fun Part 1

Hello all. I-team member Sonja here with a Valentine's inspired project. This is a two part post. The second half to this set will be posted on Wednesday, January 24th and it is the grand finale to this project. A must see, so tune back in!

I received the newest double sided stack from DCWV called the Wild Side. It has all sorts of different types of animal prints and textures. When I saw the Cheetah print set, I knew immediately I wanted to make the 3D Stiletto. Which then led to doing a matching tie, 2 champagne flutes, and 1 stand.  All four files can be found on SnapDragon Snippets page or the Silhouette Store.

The great thing with the double sided stacks is that you don't have to decorate the other side of the project.
However, I decided I wanted the inside to be black with a gold insole and a black glitter heel.
Those tiny little clothes pins are great to have on hand while working with 3D projects.
So I found it easier to form the shoe first and then add in the sole.
 First one down
Can't have a sassy heel without some bling!

I was able to tie in part 1 and 2 of this project with the ribbon, bling, and matching handmade flowers.

The Post-Christmas-Blues.....

....yup! There is such a thing. I suffer from it BIG time! That creative void or vaccum where you don't know what to make or create. Seems like you been totally busy and now....it's quiet. Totally blank.
I sat down last night - tired from being up way too late New Years Eve and really really lazy. I started going through different projects I could create (I do that sometimes - kinda planning ahead) and there it was!
The cute 3D Snow Globe Box from the JGW Snow Flurries kit (also found here in the Silhouette Design Store) and I decided to make my own version of it ;-)

All I really did was make an octagon-shaped hole in the middle and layer it with some vellum so light can shine through. Then I too one of the snow flakes from the Snow Flake Hanging Card from the SDS Ornament kit (or design #22717 in the Silhouette Design Store) and cut out 4 of them and then glued them side to side to make a 3D snow flake to hang in the middle of the Snow Globe.

Finally I put in a color shifting LED light into the box and voila!

I do think it's fun when imagination runs wild and you can come up with new ways to make things.
Thanks for joining me today - I hope you came into 2018 with happiness and a big bang and I look forward to showing you lots of new projects.

Happy New Year with Beth

Good Monday Morning!  Happy New Year!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here with you to share this fun interactive card.
I created this card using the SnapDragon Snippets' New Year Ball Drop card file.  2018 is part of the updated years file.  This file is also included in the JGW New Year's Celebration set.  The papers I used are from DCWV's All Dressed Up and Glitzy Glitter stacks as well as solid colored Recollections cardstock.  I love that the ball can move up and down on the strip of paper!
Embellishments include Bubblegum Taffy Trendy Twine, rhinestones, and Wink Of Stella.  Adhesives used include ATG and Lineco Adhesive in a precision tip bottle.  For more details, stop by my blog!
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!
