I used the JGW Beary Sweet kit -- which is one of my all time favorites!! I turned the bear into a girl bear (notice the bow on her head instead? hehe) and gave it an all pink makeover!

Hi and welcome, everyone. Lisa from In The Crafting Cave sharing two cards I created using SVG Attic's JGW Beautiful Bloom Set. I used bright colors and fun patterns to create these cards. The Flower Pot Easel Card has a fantastic step-by-step tutorial for you to follow.

Adding fun embellishments for the center of the flowers adds texture. I used
Distress Glitter and Bright Seed Beads.

The Flower Pot Easel Card comes together quickly. Especially if you follow the step-by-step tutorial that is provided. The Flower Pot Easel would be perfect decorations for a girl's Garden Party this summer.

The Daisy Flourish A6 Banner Card is super is to cut and assemble. The hardest part is deciding on
what papers to use.

Pirate Ship Center Pieces

Tracy here again to share with you my newest project.

You may or may not know but I work for the High School here.
We are they Cyprus Pirates.

So what does that have to do with anything?

Its graduation this week and last Tuesday it was our Senior's Award Night.
On Monday I was asked (told)  if I could come up with some decorations for the tables.
Here is what they told me:

*We don't really have a budget for this so we need to keep it as inexpensive as possible
* We don't have a lot of time (two days) so they need to be simple and quick
* We have 24 tables
*We want a pirate theme and gold coins.

Hmm.

SVG Attic to the rescue.  I went to the website and found some fun pirate files and this is what I came up with.

To create the ship I used the  SDS Pirate Ship file

I started with a very basic box shape.
Open the pirate ship file and size it as needed (mine stands about 8" tall).
Cut out two ships with all the pieces, be sure to mirror one of the ships.
Ink all of the flags and assemble adding the flags with foam pop dots.

To finish it, I added the skull from the SDS Skull Medallion (cut from vinyl or as a print and cut) to the middle flag and then tied kite string  around the flag polls.

To finish. add the ships to two opposite  sides of the box.

For a little more at the table I created place cards with the SDS skull medallions, using our school colors. To finish it all up I made a few more medallions to place on the table with the gold coins.

The boxes were also filled with gold coins but I forgot to get a picture before they were all eaten.

It was a simple project but I was able to get all 24 tables done with time to spare; and got lots of compliments when it was all said and done (bonus points with the boss!)

You can get this bear for yourself, it is JGW 3D Teddy Bear.

In the above pic I used glossy accents for the nose. The bow is Rumple Ribbon for LoveBug Creations.
In the below pic I used the following to make the banner. From Jaded Blossom I used Alphabet Dies and Candy Charms and Banner Dies. From Trendy Twine Cherry Latte.

The pattern paper for the bear is from DCWV Into the Woods

Nature Father's Day Cards with Beth

Good morning, crafty friends!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here, and I decided to take some time to work on Father's Day cards.
Since I like to think outside of the box, I took elements from non-Father's Day sets to create these.  It just goes to show that the possibilities are endless with SO many SVG Attic files!

For the first card, I used the acorn and leaf file (supposed to be for on a tile or canvas) from the JGW Enchanted Autumn set and added it to a simple card base.  I cut different elements out of different masculine papers from DCWV's Luxe Lodge stack.  The acorns and leaves are popped up with foam tape.  I kept it simple, only embellishing with a bow of Totally Chocolate Trendy Twine.
The second card is actually a combination of two cards from the JGW Pinecones and Holly Card Kit.  The base, panel and evergreen bough are from the tree card.  I just tilted the tree to make it look like a branch.  The pinecone is from that card in the same set.  I added bronze eyelets to bring out the bronze foil accents in the paper (DCWV's Luxe Lodge stack) and wrapped Totally Chocolate Trendy Twine around the pinecone stem.
The white background paper is from DCWV's Embossed White stack.  The stamp I used is from Kaisercraft.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Spring Blossom Blocks

Tracy here from the Idea Closet and ready to share my newest project.

Spring is here and it is one of my favorite times of the year.
I love the warmer weather and the flowers that are just blooming!
If you do too you will love this project.

These spring blocks are perfect for bringing some of the outdoors inside!

JGW Batwing Brew

Believe it or not this was created using the block files from the
JGW Batwing Brew Collection over at SVG Attics.

Did you ever think you could use a Halloween file for Spring?
This kit is so versatile, you could do it for almost any theme.

Just change up the words and you have a perfect Spring set.
I used some of my favorite paper from Doodle Bug and added some Doodle Pop Stickers and ribbon to finish it up.

Here are some close up pictures:

Jody gives great instructions here to put the blocks together.  There are a lot of pieces but it goes together quick and easy.

Roses for Mom

Hello! Tanya here from Crafting on Caffeine.  I wanted to share the bouquet I made for my mother-in-law.  She loves roses but since she is 2200 miles away she doesn't want us to spend the money to have them sent. So I thought what better then to make this and send it her.

I used me eBrush to add all the accent colors.

Also used the following:

Floral Trio of Cards with Beth

Happy Saturday!  The sun is shining and everything in nature is so beautiful!
Beth from Beth's Beauties here and for my post today, I decided to create three very different floral cards using multiple sets available at SVG Attic.
Card #1 has an elegant feel to it.  I used the card base and panel from the tree card in JGW Pinecones and Holly Card Kit.
The flowers and greenery are from the box in G is For Gratitude.  I just downsized them to fit on the panel.  I added homemade enamel dots and a bow of Grape Fizz Trendy Twine.  The papers I used are DCWV's Bouquet De Fleur and Embossed White stacks.
Card #2 has more of a funky feel to it!  Circles, stripes and doodle flowers make this card fun for any occasion.  Once again, I used the card base and panel from the tree card in JGW Pinecones and Holly Card Kit.  The pennant is from the JGW Crystal Winter set.  It is the shape that has the letter "I" on it.  I simple sized it to fit on the panel behind it.
Both of the flowers are from SDS Flourished Spring.  I finished the card off with a tie of crinkled seam binding ribbon.  The papers I used are from DCWV's Peachy Keen and Embossed White stacks.
Last, but certainly not least, this card has a shabby chic feel to it.  The card base, and layers except for the flower and sentiment banner are from the heart/leaf emblem card in the JGW Pinecones and Holly Card Kit.
That gorgeous flower and the sentiment banner are from the brand new JGW Beautiful Bloom set, with the Daisy Banner card.  To finish this card off I used gold brads, and a bow of white crinkled seam binding.  The papers I used are from DCWV's Happy Day and Embossed White stacks.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day, and a blessed Mother's Day tomorrow to all you moms out there!

Steampunk Bear ~ with Cyndy G.

Hello and happy Friday.  I have a super fun project to share today.
I used the JGW 3d Teddy Bear to create this Steampunk bear.

3d Teddy Bear

I used the Mourner's hat out of the JGW Raven Quest.  This hat is my favorite go to hat.  It is so easy to make and it looks fabulous.  I cut it at about 55%.  The paper I used is from Marion Smith Designs and it is beautiful.  I don't know if you can tell in the photo but the pattern on the paper is sheets of metal.  This is very thick paper and it is great for paper crafting.

3d paper steampunk teddy bear

The goggles are from SDS Ready For Take Off and the clock is from JGW New Years Celebration.

I used buttons that look like metal and the bow is in the file with the mourner's hat.
To get the hat to fit the way I wanted, I left off the right ear.

I hope you have enjoyed my project today.  Thank you for stopping by.

Do what inspires you,
Cyndy G.
