Happy New Year ~ with Cyndy G.

Happy Friday.  I still can't believe it is the end of 2016.  I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season and has a safe and happy New Year.  Today I am sharing with you the 3D Champagne Glass from JGW New Years Celebration.

This cute glass is about the size of a real wine glass.  I added pearl strands to the seams of my glass.

To give the impression of bubbles in a champagne glass I added gemstones.
My treats are Pirouline, I just love these chocolates!  Thank you for stopping by today and I'll see you next year :)

Last Minute Gifts with Lisa

Hi, and welcome, everyone. Lisa from The Relativity of Paper wishing you a Very Merry Christmas.
Here we are two days before Christmas, and without fail, the last minute gift happens. Don't worry, it happens to the best of us. You get a call from a relative and so-so is bringing their better half to your house, Christmas Eve. Do you say "Oh, Well, better luck next year" or fight the crowds to find a quick gift? Personally, I run for the stash of gift cards I keep, grab one, break out the Silhouette Cameo and make one of these adorable, easy gift card holders from the JGW Ho Ho Holiday Collection at SVG Attic. Seriously, they think you put a lot of effort into it. They leave the house saying "Oh my gosh, that was so sweet of her to give me a gift card and she made the holder!" And I secretly high-five myself for being crafty and pulling off another last minute gift.

The "present" gift card holder can be used for Birthdays, Weddings, New Baby, and so much more.

You can always change the papers and use the candy gift card holder for boys or girls birthdays.

I always say use your SVG files for any and everything!

I used 12 x 12 paper in white and kraft along with patterned paper from DCWV Merry Memories Stack.

As always, thanks for joining us!

The Perfect Hostess Gift

Going to a party or dinner this week and looking for a smart hostess gift but out of time?

Tracy here with a quick, easy and beautiful idea.

I love to give Sparkling Cider to the Hostess.  It can either be opened and served at the party or saved for later.
This would also be a great idea for a bottle of flavored oil.

I used two different files from the JGW Poinsettia Passion Collection.

JGW Poinsettia Passion

Because of all the detail on the Poinsettia for the Doily Frame Card I chose to use that flower but I  put it on the Bottle Tag.
The instructions for the card can be found here.

Here is a close up of my flower.

I cut the leaves and stems from 2 different greens and then followed Jodi's instructions to ink and curl the leaves.

For the Poinsettia leaves I used two different reds.  Emboss the leaves with an embossing envelope.
Ink and curl the leaves following Jodi's instructions again.

Once it is assembled, add some small gold beads to the center.

To finish the gift off, I tied a big sparkly bow and added to the top of the bottle.

I am so happy with the way this turned out and I think my Mother in Law will be pleased when I give it to her at Christmas dinner.

Be Sure to check out SVG Attic for some new and old Christmas files and if you are new to SVG Attic you can also check us out here:

Christmas Poinsettia Wreath

Hello All! Only 6 more days till Christmas, are you ready? I think I am, but I'm sure something will come up at the last minute.  Tanya from Crafting on Caffeine here today and I made a wreath using 2 files.  The first file is the wreath from JGW Colonial Christmas minus the folded stars. I instead decided to use poinsettias from the door hanger in JGW Poinsettia Passion.

For the center of the poinsettias I created little pom-poms with Trendy Twine's Lemon Peppermint

Below is a side view of the wreath.

Hope you enjoy the post today! Please stop by again soon!

Christmas Notecards with Beth

Hello all!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here with you today.  I created these 3x3" notecards for placing on gifts.
I made two each of 4 designs.  The wreath and ornament are from the All The Trimmings set.  I embellished the wreath with Candy Cane Trendy Twine and the ornament with a narrow gold ribbon.
The stocking is from the Cookies for Santa set and the gingerbread man is from Santa's Little Helpers.  These two were complete just by adding some small buttons with mini glue dots.
The scalloped circle was cut at 2.875" and is from the SDS Fun in the Sun set.  The white stitched circle is from a manual die.  The patterned papers are from DCWV's Christmas Plaid stack.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Christmas Bear ~ with Cyndy G.

Happy Friday!  I hope everyone is enjoying getting ready for the Holidays!  I know I am.  Today I am sharing my version of a Polar Christmas Bear using the JGW 3D Teddy Bear kit.  I love how he turned out.  I used red glitter ribbon and Christmas buttons.

I also added a cute little hat and scarf that I picked up after Christmas last year.
I think they finish him off perfectly!

JGW Nutcracker Patrol

Hello all! I-team member Sonja here. Today I bring you a Nutcracker solider from the JGW Nutcracker Patrol file.

Thinking back on a Christmas I faintly remember as a child, we were at a family friends house. She had a white baby grand piano and her house was decorated so magnificently that I for one reason or another always remembered her set of Nutcrackers!

So I thought I would make one! I also decided to not do a whole scene because I wanted the focus to be on all of his details.
This guy stands about 14 inches tall. Under his beard is several gold buttons and an undershirt.
What I love most about this soldier is that there is detail no matter which way he is turned.
There is opportunity to accent each piece as wanted.

I happened to have these button brads on hand which were great to use in the soldiers cuff links, tail, hat, and boots.

I wanted to keep the sword realistic so I kept it in the gold scheme and added two gold brads to accent it.
Even down to his hat where it is optional to put a chain. I didn't have a chain on hand, but I did have this gold ribbon that I felt was fitting.

The back of the soldier has one of my favorite pieces.
The tail on this guy. I don't know why, but it is my favorite part!

The little box that jets out from his back is the handle of a Nutcracker.
The tassels on his boots are just a little something I added to match the tassels on his shoulders.
