Cruise Ship Card with Beth

Hello crafty friends! Beth from Beth's Beauties here with you today. I am sharing the cruise ship card that I made for my sister's birthday.  Her husband surprised her with an Alaskan cruise for her birthday present, so I went with that theme for her card.

The card and envelope files are from JGW Paris Voyage.  The "celebrate" sentiment is from JGW Take the Cake.  I used papers from DCWV's Silver Leaf and Peri & Peach stacks to create this card.  I embellished with Bubblegum Taffy Trendy Twine and GMD Soft Pink Pearls.
I love that this card has a coordinating envelope file to go with it!

Here is a look at the JGW Paris Voyage set:

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Hot Fudge to my Sundae

Who doesn't love a good sundae on a hot summer night? Me personally, add a banana, throw on some hot fudge, scoop in the classic vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry ice cream with a dollop of whip cream, a cherry to top and I am good to go!
Once all my pieces were cut out using SVG Attic's 'Ethan's Cool Treats' collection on my Silhouette Cameo 3, I used the multi glue and pop up tape to bring dimension.
The pop up tape is something I use in most of my projects to build more layers.
I also highlighted spots on the syrup by using Tim Holtz Vintage Photo distress ink.
Next I grabbed the 'You Are My Everything' stamp set by Scrappy Moms for the sentiment tag
And finally a sinfully yummy card was created!

Have A Sunshiny Day with Lisa

Happy Friday, everyone! Lisa from The Relativity of Paper and today I'm sharing two great ideas for summer gift giving. Using two pieces from the JGW Fathoms Deep Kit and CG Under the Sea Kit I created a gift box and card.

Recently, I was in one of the local big box stores and found several paper kits marked down and I couldn't resist. Several of the kits are Summer themed, like this one I used by Authentique - Seafarer. It's nice to have new inspiration.
The top of the box is the center of Seafarer Eleven paper and if that's not a sign I don't know what is. It's the exact size of the accent layer for the box. I cut the top accent layer and cut the side accents using the same paper. I love this paper with this box and card. I used coordinating papers from the same kit to create the card. The sentiment banner is from the kit, too.

Look at the details on the sides of the lid, gorgeous!

As always, thanks for joining us!

Memory Box with Tracy

Looking for a great way to store keepsakes or souvenirs?

Tracy here from the Idea Closet and today is my turn to post with SVG Attic,
I am so excited to share a great project that is the perfect answer to this question.

Check out this beautiful Memory box.

It is created with the files from the JGW Build a Box collection
JGW Build a Box

There are a lot of options in the collection that make it possible to create all the details on the box.

The flowers are part of the collection and add the perfect touch.

Use Wood Doll Stands (found at Micheal's) to add feet to the box.
Paint them to match the paper.

Here is a side view.

The box has a magnetic closure, sturdy lid and bottom and lots of room to keep your pieces safe.

This project has lots of parts but if you follow Jodi's instructions here, it is pretty easy to understand.

I think I am addicted to these fun boxes and can't wait to make more.

Bee Hive Card with Beth

Hello crafty friends!  Beth from Beth's Beauties with you today sharing this bee hive card.
This card was solely inspired by some new papers I got!  The DCWV Watercolor Garden stack had these amazing bee inspired papers in it and I knew I had to make something with them, so this card was created!  The file I used from SVG Attic is from the JGW Blooming Card kit.
I distressed the cuts with various colors of Distress Inks to add more dimension to the card.  I kept it pretty simple, only adding a few sequins for embellishments.
Here is a look at the kit that I used:

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Bon Voyage

Summer months makes me want to travel! Hello all, I-team Sonja here with a Bon Voyage suitcase from the JGW Fashionably French set.
JGW Fashionably French
For my suitcase, I decided on DCWV's 'Preserved Flowers' stack for a soft white, cream, and tan effect.
Then I decided that I needed to use some Tim Holtz accent pieces because, well I couldn't not use them!
Adding the metal hinges, lock and key, as well as the bird and flowers just brings an extra element of texture which I am all about!

Materials Used:

DCWV 'Preserved Flowers' stack
SVG Attic 'JGW Fashionably French' set
Tim Holtz metal details
Silhouette Cameo 3
Silhouette Studios-Designer Edition
Aleene's Original Tacky Glue

Cards For Dad

Ok so I know we are past Father's Day but really, you could give your dad a card anytime! Tanya from Crafting on Caffeine here to share with you these cards I made for my Dad and my Father in Love.
The first card I used "Cards For Dad".  My dad is retired military so I thought it fitting to use Doodlebug Design's Yankee Doodle 12x12

This 2nd card I made for my Father in love. He always wears crazy ties so I thought this would be fun for him.  I used SDS "Love You Daddy"  For my Paper Choice I used Doodlebug Designs Flea Market 6x6 and 12x12 Flea Market Petite Prints.

Hope you enjoyed and will stop by again soon. Thank you!

Worlds Best Dad with Lisa

Happy Friday everyone and welcome. Lisa from The Relativity of Paper sharing a quick and simple gift card box. Wednesday was my Dad's birthday and I needed a quick gift card box that would hold not only a gift card but a few miniature Snickers underneath. Of course, JGW GONE FISHING KIT from SVG Attic has a great gift card box included. It was the perfect size for my gift card and eight miniature Snickers fit perfectly under the insert.

To create this box I used my Silhouette Cameo and Photoplay's Family Ties. This box and those papers were meant to meet! That's all I can say. I didn't add the accent pieces to the sides of the box top because the paper is woodgrain and I love the way it looked. I did add the top accent piece using fun foam to add some dimension, wrapping the twine around the top accent and then adhering it to the box lid. Easy, peasy!

As always, thanks for joining us!

Ice Cream Sundae

Hello Everyone, I hope you all had a fantastic holiday yesterday.
Tracy here from the Idea Closet.

What is better after a long hot day then a day of relaxing and ice cream?
Today I have a project to help you relax.

This file is one I have wanted to make for a long time.  It almost looks good enough to eat.

Love the cherry that goes on the top;
I even used it to make a tag to tie to the front of the Sundae.

The best part, is it can actually be filled with treats to share with someone special.

The file is part of the CG Fabulous 50's kit

.

The possibilities are endless with this one file.  I can't wait to make a lot more.

Patriotic Tussie Mussie with Beth

Hello everyone!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here with you today.  I have this patriotic Tussie Mussie just in time for the 4th of July tomorrow!
The Tussie Mussie (cone) file is from SVG Attic's JGW July 4th Block Party.  The rosette is part of that file, but I switched out the medallion on the front with the SDS Star Medallion.  It was resized to 2.5" to fit properly on the medallion.  All the papers are from The Paper Studio's Vintage Nation stack.
See all the beautiful details around the top of the Tussie Mussie!
I filled it with various patriotic items I had in my craft room.  Silk flowers, star sprays and a painted flag heart.  I put floral foam and kraft shred in the cone before adding the decorations.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!
