For the Graduate

Happy Monday! Tanya from Crafting on Caffeine here today, hope you all had a very Happy Mother's Day! I did even though I was snowed in under a foot of snow!
Well now it's time to think about graduation! Especially in my house, my daughter is graduating from High School. Her school colors are red and white and she is graduating with High honors which is where the gold(yellow) comes in. I used SVG Attic Hat's Off collection to put this together. Hope you enjoy!

This is the scroll card. I love the tear-apart to get the money out.

This Grad hat is just too cute! I had to put a gold tassel on it because my daughter's tassel will be gold. And after all those tests are done what else would you want but starbucks and chocolate.

This gift bag is amazing and pretty sure I will be making more for all my daughter's friends!

The tag is not included in the collection but there is one that is cute. I did color the owl myself, kinda proud of how it turned out.
Both of these cut outs (below) are part of the collection and I had to have something on the back of the bag!

And of course I have to show you a side view. I popped the star panel and 2015 to add dimension.

Here is a list of what else I used to put this great collection together:

Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a Great Day!

Teacher Appreciation Day ~ with Cyndy

Today is Teacher Appreciation Day!  I hope everyone takes a moment to say Thank you to all the dedicated men and women who spend their days molding our children.  It is not an easy task they have.  In honor of Teacher Appreciation Day I decided to make the Teacher Box Card and School Bus box from the SDS Gearing Up 4 School set.

School bus box and Teacher box card

The teacher card is so cute with apple and pencil.

I used my favorite line of paper again.  Graphic 45, ABC Primer.  This is a collection they brought back in the collector's edition.

School bus box

I cut my bus at 80% and it is still a nice size.  The bus is about 6.5 inches long.

As the end of the school year approaches don't forget about the saints driving our children to school.  They would sure appreciate a little "Thank you" as well.  There is also a Bus Box Card that is super cute in the JGW Back 2 School set (click the link to check it out).

I hope you have enjoyed my project today.

Do what inspires you,
Cyndy G.

SVG Attic Guest Designer Katie Williams

So on the whim, and the encouragement from a friend, I applied to be a Guest Designer for SVG Attic.  I made it!  I am the Guest DT for May and let me tell you that Beth, Jodi, Mike and Kenzie are some of the nicest people to work with!

Okay, okay, enough about talking and on to my project...

Today is a simple one, (once again life is crazy). Teacher Appreciation Week is this week so I put together two treats boxes for each of my kid's teacher.

I used the the Apple Handled box from the SDS Gearing Up 4 School Kit. I placed a piece of clear plastic in front of the opening and filled the box with Hershey kisses.  The sentiment and pictures are from Jaded Blossom and they can be found, here.

Here is a top view.

Thank you for stopping by and checking out my project and look forward to more posts this month!

Angeline from ScrappyScrappy sharing with you a double bi-fold card from the latest Fashionably French kit.

SVG Attic: French Poodle card #svgattic #scrappyscrappy #card #bifold

I love the poodle that comes with this kit! I tied some pink twine around her neck and added a bling too. :) Added some flowers to the card as well for the extra pop!

Welcome Spring Collection with Lisa

Lisa from The Crafting Cave sharing a "Happy Mother's Day" set I made using
This collection is so versatile, I fell in love with it.

SVG Attic Welcome Spring Collection, spring, mother's day, birds

SVG Attic Welcome Spring Collection, butterfly, bird, cage, house
I used DCWV The Preppy Princess Stack for all the projects listed.
I'm planning on using the Birdhouse to hold a cupcake. I have plastic container
for cupcakes that fits perfectly inside. I cut everything out and then assembled. Of course,
that's when my wheels start turning. The lattice around the bottom actually goes with the birdcage file and the bird is from the card file. I added a little moss, the flowers, and punched the birds around the top. I dabbed gold ink randomly on the birdhouse.

SVG Attic Welcome Spring, watering, can, butterfly

As I worked on the birdhouse my brain was in overdrive. (I'm dangerous if I sit still too long!)
The watering can was next and I knew I would want to use it for fresh flowers. (I'm thinking I can
use a clear cup to hold the flowers.) The file uses a very pretty flower on the sides of the watering can but I wanted to cover it butterflies since I'm using fresh flowers in it. Well, hello, perfect! The birdcage has a butterfly that perches on top of it. I just resized the butterfly file and cut multiples.
I inked a few of the butterflies using distress inks and added pearls. I really wanted it to pop though.
So gold and pink glittered butterflies did the trick.

SVG Attic Welcome Spring, Bird, Cage
I think the birdcage will make a beautiful centerpiece. Again, I used elements from other files, within this collection, to embellish the birdcage. I added glitter to the bird and let the polka dots on the leaves do the work for me. The flowers are from my stash.

I have some other ideas for this collection. I'm positive I will be using it again!

I hope you have an amazing weekend!

Religious Cards with Beth

Beth from Beth's Beauties here today, and I am posting two different cards, but they are both very similar.  They are both for religious occasions and use the chalice and host files from SVG Attic's Communion of Faith kit.

The first card was created as an invitation for my son's First Communion.  Actually I made 10 of these cards!  It was so worth it though.  They were elegant and everyone loved them.
I embossed the cup and the base of the chalice and used foam tape under different pieces for added dimension.  I added Krazy for Kraft and Chocolate Truffle Trendy Twines along the left side.  The patterned papers I used were open stock papers from Hobby Lobby.  LOVE their religious selection of papers!

On to card #2.  This one could be used for many religious occasions.  I used the same die cuts as in the first card, but I also added the Flourished Cross in the background.
I added Chocolate Truffle twine around the base and added a small stamped tag.  I used brown chalk ink around the edges of the die cuts.
The layers were once again popped up with foam tape.  The patterned papers are from Hobby Lobby.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Thank you Gift Totes by Tanya

Hello and Happy Monday! Tanya from Crafting on Caffeine her and today is my day to hopefully share some inspiration with you.  I have a cute thank you gift to show you.

I used the Pint gift tote from SVG Attic "JGW Neighbor Gift Set" and shrank it down a bit (didn't want to put that much candy in it, hahaha)  I love that it has the clear window option to be able to cut out! This was so easy to put together! The tag is also part of this set, isn't that great! The hardest part was deciding colors. Haha.

Here is a list of the rest of what was used to pull these treats together!
KaDoodle Bug Designs - JPEG Cutie KaToodles Girl Cow I added a bit of white gel and some glossy accent on the eyes and a bit "Wink of Stella" on the red bows.
Rumple Ribbon is from Lovebug Creations. She doesn't have a website anymore but you can get ahold of her via FB.

Happy Crafting! And please share with us on Facebook what you create!
