Wedding Centerpieces and Favors

Tracy here with the Idea Closet and another project for SVG Attic.
We have another wedding coming up.  My son is getting married in a couple of weeks,( and yes, if you are counting that is 3 children in 18 months).

The night before the wedding we are hosting a Garden Dinner for both families.

The 3D Hanging Lanterns will make the perfect centerpieces.

They are the perfect size, approximately 4"  wide by 7 " tall
and with a votive candle turned on they will give out just the right amount of light.

To decorate the top of the lantern I used flowers and leaves from the G is for Gratitude collection.  There is so much detail on these little lanterns.
The floral Grille is beautiful as are the side lattice pieces.
I did mine in a two tone cream and white to match Jamie's decorations.

My favorite part of this file is the Votive candle holder and wax cup.

They are so pretty I think I will use a few of these, tied with a bow and scattered through out the garden.

The wax cup can also hold a single votive.  Wrapped in some Tulle and tied with ribbon, these will make fantastic little favors.

Thank you for joining me today and be sure to check out this and many other files at SVG Attic

Bride's Maid Luncheon with SVG Attic

Tracy here and this week we are getting ready for a Bride's Maid Luncheon.

My daughter asked me to put together a little center piece and gift bags for Saturday.

Although these are not really her colors I loved the gold, cream and black together and how elegant they looked.

The gift bag was created using the Valentine Treat Box from the new

JGW Heartfelt Delivery

This is a bran new set that has some really fun files in it.  Check out the mail truck, you can use it year round!

Instead of the words "be mine" I added Thank you and cut them out of Gold Foil Vinyl from Cricut.
Loved it.

The box is made to hold a little box of valentine candy but it fit the jewelry boxes she had perfectly..

The 3 Tiered cake was a lot of fun to make and we are both very happy with the way it turned out.
The file is from the SDS 3D Cake Box Kit and the flowers are from the  JGW Tropical Haven set.

I cut the flowers from Gold Foil paper and Black Glitter paper.
Use small brads to hold them together then glue them to the sides of the box.
I am excited for the way these turned out and my daughter loves them too.

If you have a wedding coming up, there is lots to do.  Make sure you have fun while your are doing it!

Shadow Box for a Wedding

Tracy here from the Idea Closet and today is my turn to post for SVG Attic.

My daughter is getting married this weekend and I have been crazy busy working on projects for the Wedding so I decided to share the Shadow Box I created.

This was a fast and easy project. It will be used as part of the decor at the reception and afterwards she can take it home.

To get started, I bought a 12 x 12 Shadow Box found at Micheal's.
They also had some of this grey cardstock with silver foil.
Silver is her accent color so it was perfect.

Place the paper inside the shadow box then closed it up.

Next I used the W Split Monogram from SVG Attic.

Resize the monogram  to fit the shadow box.
Next, add the names and the date in the split area using two different fonts already downloaded to your computer.

Once everything is lined up and the way you want it, cut from vinyl.

Apply the vinyl to the front of the shadow box.

If you are looking for a fast but beautiful gift, try creating your own shadow box.
SVG Attic has 3 different styles of Split Monograms, perfect for whatever project you are working on.

Give it a try.

LOVE one another

Wedding season is upon us! DT Sonja here with a wedding favor set. Each element can be used to give gifts to guests, bridesmaids and groomsmen, or even each other.

I have to say I am super happy to never have to plan another wedding! But this set would also be great to give to a bride and groom.
For the cake, I used two files. The cake is from the SDS 3D Cake Box Kit
While the LOVE topper is from the 'Love one another i-beam' file found in Silhouette Design Store

The Bride and Groom boxes come from Janies Wedding Favor Box set

This is the first stop on the hop!

Here is what I created for you today:

Beth from Beth's Beauties here, and I made a matching wedding gift bag and card combo from SVG Attic's RW Shadowbox Valentine's Bag.
First up, the gift bag.  This is what the design from RW Shadowbox Valentine's Bag is for.
I tied the negative cut from the black paper onto the handle of the bag with some Aqua Midnight Trendy Twine.
Here is the shadowbox part...Behind the word Love is a shaker!  I used a silver heart and sequins in it.  Aqua rhinestones finished off the bag.
Now on to the card.  I simply resized the elements from the front of the bag to fit on an A2 card base.  I also omitted the shaker part from the bag front.
To embellish, I used silver rhinestones and Midnight Trendy Twine.  The papers I used on both projects are DCWV's All Dressed Up and Glitzy Glitter stacks.  I cut the "Love" words from vinyl.

Chocolate Candy Treat Box

Good morning friends!   Beth from Beth's Beauties here with you today.  June is the month for weddings, so that is the theme I went with for today's project.
The chocolate candy box svg is from SVG Attic's JGW Beary Sweet set and it is perfect for a treat box to sit on tables at a bridal shower or wedding or to add some treats and money in it for a gift for the bride and groom.  I used Totally Black Trendy Twine to write "love" on the tag as well as to wrap around the top a few times and tie the rings at the top.  This file also comes with tags for print then cut with words on them for other fun options.
The finishing touch was adding sequins on the tag and box so add a little color and sparkle.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Anniversary Box Card with Beth

Hello all!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here, and today I am sharing a box card I created for my husband's grandparents who celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this year.  A milestone like that deserves an extra special card, so I modified the one in SVG Attic's Wedding Wishes set just a bit to have it work for an anniversary.
On the back panel, I omitted the words that were supposed to be on it and placed the bouquet higher up.
Here is a peek at the beautiful formal elements that create the center parts of the card.
Look at those rings!  I used DCWV's Glitzy Glitter silver cardstock for the diamond and it just shines!
On the front, I also changed the words from what the file included.  I simply cut out "60 years" to fit on the front panel.  For added touches, I used Pinkberry Sorbet Trendy Twine under the "60" and I also added flowers on the side flaps of the box.  Those flowers were cut from the bouquet flowers.
The best part is that it all folds flat!  I used my scoring board to create the envelope.  I started with a 11" square and scored each diagonal side at 4.25".  They loved the card!

P.S. SVG Attic is having a Guest Design Team call!  Stop by THIS blog post for all the details.  The deadline to apply is September 15th.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Wedding Wishes with Angeline

It's a brand new week and there is a new kit in store!
Angeline here to share with you JGW Wedding Wishes kit.

In this kit, there is a box card which is just perfect for my friend who is getting married soon!

I've used sweet pinks and neutral colors for that softer look, with the exception of the rings in shimmer gold and the diamond in clear shimmer :)

I've embossed the wedding gown and added some lace and tulle to create a fuller skirt.

Hidden right behind the card is this beautiful bouquet of flowers :)

BEST part about these box cards are that you can fold it FLAT when you give it to your friend -- then they can proudly display it later! :)
