Magical Memories with Lisa

Hi and welcome, everyone! Lisa from The Relativity of Paper sharing a fun way to keep magical memories using the JGW Just Sew Notions Box. We are headed to Disney World in December with our granddaughter, Averly Rose; this is her first trip there. Walking through the Magic Kingdom gates is a thrill for me. I nearly take off in a full sprint to stand smack tap in the middle of Main Street, USA where I can stand in awe of Cinderella's Castle. I can only hope Averly's first time is as magical. Since she is only three, I wanted her to have something to keep special little treasures in and the Notions Box is perfect. I found this box very easy to assemble and as always, binder clips can be your best friend when assembling.

I used Simple Stories Say Cheese Collection.

I have a Disney Font on my computer that I used to cut her name out of red cardstock.

Here you can see the inside has five compartments to hold all of her magical treasures, even her MagicBand fits perfectly. I added a pocket to the inside of the lid to hold postcards, pictures, and other like items. The tags lay in the middle compartment perfectly.

One of my favorite things are the tags I created for each day and the park we will be visiting that day. In the evening she can add all her stuff, and I can jot down a few highlights of the day for her.  My hope is that she will continue to fill this box with memories that we all share at the Happiest Place Ever!

As always, thanks for joining us!

Count Your Blessings

Fall is in the air and its time to get ready for one of my favorite holidays...Thanksgiving.
Tracy here from the Idea Closet with a
wonderful, brand new kit available from SVG Attic.

This is a beautiful set of cards, but I especially love the Vinyl Art and couldn't wait to use it!

I had the perfect metal tray to place the vinyl on.

Add to the sign, some  leaves cut from the Rocker Hat Card.
Crinkle the leaves and ink them up before adding  to the sign.

I love how the leaves, and the sign blend in perfect with my Fall wreath.

And here is a close up of just the sign with leaves.

What a great project.

3D Fall Treat Bag

Hello all! Even though our temps are above normal right now it is still Fall.  And with fall, hot cocoa is perfect treat!
Tanya from Crafting on Caffeine here today and I'm super excited to share this bag with you.
It is the Large Gift Bag from CG Father Christmas Collection. I shunk the bag down to 6x6 so I could use my 6x6 paper packs. Works Perfect!!!

The rake and some leaves are from JGW Falling Leaves. A rake bends slightly so I arranged the prongs to look like it.

Paper is from Doodlebug

SVG Attic Fish Card

Hello friends!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here with you today with this masculine card.
I created this card using the trout file from the gift box in the JGW Gone Fishing kit.  If you would like some help layering the colors, Jodi has a great tutorial on that HERE.
For embellishments, I kept it simple and used Chocolate Truffle Trendy Twine, a retired sentiment from My Craft Spot, a metal craft safety pin and wooden buttons.  The patterned papers are from The Paper Studio.
Here is a look at the set that I used the file from:
New to SVG Attic?  Check out these awesome places!

Pumpkin Box ~ with Cyndy G.

Happy Friday.  Wow, I can hardly believe Halloween is behind us and Thanksgiving is just three weeks away!  Today I am sharing the Pumpkin Wedge Box, from JGW Pumpkin Grin,  I made for my Thanksgiving table.  This box looks amazing when it is finished.  I must admit, this one is definitely for the advanced paper crafter.  Just take your time and in the end you will love what you come out with.

JGW Pumpkin Grin

I used AC cardstock for the the base and the decorative paper is Adrienne Looman's Family Traditions.  You can get the digital version of this paper at Snap Click Supply Co.

The ribbon I had in my stash of craft supplies.  This is a big pumpkin!  I hope you have enjoyed my project today and if you decide to tackle this project, I would love to see pictures on our facebook page.  Happy crafting :)

Do what inspires you,

A Warm Fall Cottage

Well now that we have made it through another Halloween, we can look forward to Thanksgiving!

For my second cottage, I went with a fall theme to capture the warm, vibrant, inviting colors of fall.

I decided early on that the best way to bring the warm colors together, as well as keep within the cottage theme was to do a burlap roof to represent a thatched roof.

The front of the house and all around the trees are pumpkins and leaves. The leaves started out as just plain white paper. The eBrush is a great tool to bring pops of colors! Not only are the paper leaves colored, but the leaves on the trees have pops of color on them as well.
