Coffin Treat Box with Beth

Hello everyone, this is Beth from Beth's Beauties back with another project for you.  Halloween is only a month away, and I have been working on some spooky projects!  Today I am sharing a coffin treat box that I made using files from the Happy Haunt Halloween Party Kit from SVG Attic.
I think this turned out so cute!  Okay, not really cute, well maybe in a spooky kind of way LOL!  All of the patterned papers are from DCWV's Bewitched stack.
For embellishments on top of the coffin, I used a little burlap, twine and buttons.
For the inside treat I went old school...I made these treats when I was young!  They are a sucker wrapped in tissue paper.  I added googly eyes, drew on the mouth and tied the bow tie with more twine.
Here is a closeup of the tombstone that is also included in the SVG kit.  It made the perfect addition to the tombstone.  How awesome would these be as place cards for a Halloween party?!

If you are stumped with what to make for Halloween, check out SVG Attic's Halloween section.  I am sure you will be inspired by something there!  Plus their files are currently 50%, so it is the perfect time to pick some up.  Their newest kit, Autumn Splendor compliments the set I used perfectly!

Washi Tape Halloween Card with Beth

Hi everyone, this is Beth from Beth's Beauties with a quick and simple Halloween card.  I am inspired so much by cards that I see on Pinterest.  I was inspired to make this card after seeing this one.  Of course, I don't have any Halloween washi tape, but I had these colors of regular washi tape, so I ran with the idea.
I used taupe embroidery floss to wrap around the card front and added the bat from the What's Brewin' set at SVG Attic.  I cut it out three times at 1.5", glued them all together so it would be more like chipboard.  Then I added a few highlights with a white gel pen and covered it with glossy accents.  Isn't he the perfect finishing touch to the card?  Large or small, die cuts always seem to their way onto all of my projects :)
If you are stumped with what to make for Halloween, check out SVG Attic's Halloween section.  I am sure you will be inspired by something there!  Plus their files are 50% off for a limited time, so it is the perfect time to pick some up.  This is their newest kit, Ghoulish Goody Bags and Boxes.

Happy Fall decorating by Jearise

The leaves are turning and the air is getting cooler and that means fall is upon us again. I love the colors and smells of fall and love decorating for it. I start decorating the end of August and do fall decorating right up to Halloween. I just work my Halloween decor in with my fall decorating that's why pumpkins are always a great choice and why today's showcase is pumpkins from the FALL COLLECTION KIT.

I used two of the pumpkins from the set and the stand for the smaller pumpkin is the cupcake holder. I did some inking with Tim Holtz distress ink on the smaller pumpkin and added some glitter mist to the bigger one. I just love the way these came out and they look so pretty in my kitchen window.

Here is a top view so you can get a better look at the leaves on the big pumpkin.

Thanks for stopping by and visit SVG Attic to find this set and other great fall and Halloween sets and we would love to see what you've made on the SVG Attic Facebook page.

Fall Themed Cards with Beth

Hello everyone!  This is Beth from Beth's Beauties with two fall themed cards made with files from SVG Attic.  On my first card, the card base and scalloped layer (fence) are all from the Fall Celebration Kit.  I cut them at the imported size except for the scalloped border.  For that I kept the width the same, but stretched the length to 2.6" so it would resemble a picket fence.  I embossed it with a striped embossing folder and then inked it with tan chalk for a rustic look.
The pumpkins and crow are from the Pumpkin Patch SVG Collection.  Aren't they adorable??  I love the way the pumpkins and vines are grouped. I had a lot of fun using DCWV's Amber Autumn stack for the patterned papers on this card.
I stamped the sentiment in brown ink and simply hand cut the tag shape.  For the finishing details I added a square of burlap, three buttons matching the colors used in the card, and a bow of twine.

My second card has a fall feel to it, but it could easily be used as a card for a teacher as well with the lined background paper and the apples.  For this card, I used Authentique paper called Seasons Autumn.  The card base and scalloped layer are from the Fall Celebration Kit, as well as the wheat sheaf in on the left side.
The basket with apples is from the Apple Picking collection.  I finished the basket off with some twine.  The sentiment is also from the Apple Picking collection.  Both the sentiment and the bushel basket are popped up with foam tape.
If these cards get you in the fall/Halloween spirit, check out the latest SVG kit from SVG Attic, called Nevermore.

Shadow Box by Jearise

I've been out of the loop of creating lately due to school. Once you have children, your life becomes theirs with all the school and after school activities so it's hard to find time to craft but I have found a little here and there and with that created this.

I made this beautiful shadow box using some of the files from SVG Attic.

I love the way this turned out and I love making shadow boxes. They make great bridal shower, wedding and anniversary gifts.
