Happy 4th of July

Independence day is soon approaching! I decided to make a few decorative pieces for our home.

Hello all, DT Sonja here with my newest project!

Starting with JGW Summer Canister for Uncle Sam, I quickly decided he needed some fireworks as well! I really liked the firework boxes from the Festive Fourth files.

And what is a celebration without a liberty bell on a card?! The liberty bell is from the USA file. The card base I found as part of a new set from SnapDragon Snippets in the Silhouette Design Store

Thank you for viewing my project! Happy 4th to everyone. Enjoy your family, your freedom, and be safe!

Space Alien card with Angeline

Happy Monday!

Angeline from ScrappyScrappy here to share with you an space alien card I made with the SVG Outta This World kit.

SVG Attic: Space Alien card with Angeline #svgattic #scrappyscrappy #outtathisworld #boxcard #svg #diecut #alien #space #card #cardmaking #papercraft

This kit is SO much fun -- it even has a 3D rocket in it!
For today's project, I chose the Box Card instead and went a little wild on adding lots of stars :)

I also found an alien sticker from my stash and made him float using a piece of transparency (plastic).
Oh, and did you notice I glittered emboss Saturn's ring too? :)

Patriotic Top Hat Centerpiece with Beth

Hello crafty friends!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here, and this is what I created for you today...a patriotic top hat centerpiece!
The files I used are from SVG Attic's PSD Stars and Stripes kit.  Don't you just love those star rosettes?!  The papers I used are from DCWV's Seaside Yacht stack.
I used Totally White Trendy Twine and May Arts ribbons as well as wooden buttons and homemade enamel dots for embellishments.
The star branches that you see behind the star rosettes are some that I had in my stash :)
I hope you all have a wonderfully crafty day!

Pretty Pineapples with Lisa

Hi, everyone! Lisa from In The Crafting Cave sharing a few pineapple projects with you. Using the pineapple box from the JGW Tropical Haven Kit and the pineapple from the Luau SVG Kit you can make these fun projects for your next summer party!
Use the pineapple box as your centerpiece and as a small guest gift by adding a small bag of hard pineapple candies. To create the pineapple box I used yellow and green 12" x 12" paper, Scotch glue, hot glue, and sequins. Followed tutorial replacing brads with sequins.

Using the Luau Kit, I created the pineapple cards that can be used for invitations, food labels on the table, and just by adding a strip of 1"x 6" paper you can create a fun napkin ring.  The possibilities are endless.
I used kraft, yellow and green cardstock to cut the pineapple cards.

We love to see what you all create! Share your projects on Facebook at
SVG Attic Fanatics Group

As always, thanks for joining us and we hope you have a fantastic weekend

Patriotic Banner

Tracy from the Idea Closet with my newest project for you.

I have said this before but I will say it again...
I LOVE banners.

For today, I decided to create a patriotic banner that is perfect to display the entire month of July.

This was pretty easy to do, went together really quick and it only uses two .99¢ files so it was  inexpensive as well.

You will need the Star Medallion
and the USA Doily Files

You will also need a basic pennant file or create your own.

Start by deciding how many pennants you want your banner to have, I created 8.
Scale them to the size you want.

Next cut out all the pieces 4 times and then reversed the colors and cut out 4 more.
I also traced a white background for each of them but you can skip that step if you would like.

Assemble the Medallion and Doily as shown or mix and match.

Add the Medallions and Doily to the pennants using glue or foam pop dots.

Here is a close up of what some of mine look like.

Place the pennants over ribbon, jute or twine.

That's all there is to it. A fun decoration for the month of July!

Be sure to check out all the new files  at SVG Attic. and my blog for new projects and ideas.

Pretty Purses ~ with Cyndy G.

Today I am sharing with you a simple little  purse from the Pretty Purses kit.  It goes together very quickly!  So if you need a little bag, this is just the one for you.  I used a magnet to hold the purse closed.

Pretty Purses

I used my favorite go to paper Graphic 45.
This paper is from the World's Fair Collection.

Pretty Purses

It is the perfect size for a little cupcake.  You may have noticed that this is not a cupcake, I didn't have one, so I used a candle that I had.  It is a little bigger than a mini cupcake
and not quite as big as a full sized cupcake.

This bag does take a sheet and a half of 12x12 paper but you only have to glue the flap to close it.

Thank you for stopping by.

Do what inspires you,
Cyndy G.

LOVE one another

Wedding season is upon us! DT Sonja here with a wedding favor set. Each element can be used to give gifts to guests, bridesmaids and groomsmen, or even each other.

I have to say I am super happy to never have to plan another wedding! But this set would also be great to give to a bride and groom.
For the cake, I used two files. The cake is from the SDS 3D Cake Box Kit
While the LOVE topper is from the 'Love one another i-beam' file found in Silhouette Design Store

The Bride and Groom boxes come from Janies Wedding Favor Box set

Rainbow Unicorn card with Angeline

Hello.
Angeline from ScrappyScrappy here to share with you this rainbow card I made using the PSD End of the Rainbow kit.

SVG Attic: Rainbow Unicorn Card with Angeline #svgattic #scrappyscrappy #psd #svg #diecut #cutfile #card #papercraft #rainbow #unicorn #unitystamp #stamp #coloring #copic

I cut out the base card along with the rainbow, which I have glittered up with some WOW chunky Glitter to make it all so colorful and fun :) Then I stamped a Unity Stamp sentiment on some gold foiled cardstock with white Hero Arts pigment ink.

SVG Attic: Rainbow Unicorn Card with Angeline #svgattic #scrappyscrappy #psd #svg #diecut #cutfile #card #papercraft #rainbow #unicorn #unitystamp #stamp #coloring #copic

Next, I stamped the unicorn and clouds from Sweet Stamp Shop and colored them with my Copic markers. I adhered them to some plastic transparency (or any plastic packaging scrap will do) and glued them to the rainbow so that they seem to be flying through the air :)

Welcome to the SVG Attic Once In A Blue June blog hop!  We are so excited to have you join us today!

At each stop of the hop we hope you will be inspired by the creativity of SVG Attic's AMAZING Inspiration Team. You are sure to find many wonderful projects that will be at the top of your crafting lists!

This is the first stop on the hop!

Here is what I created for you today:

Beth from Beth's Beauties here, and I made a matching wedding gift bag and card combo from SVG Attic's RW Shadowbox Valentine's Bag.
First up, the gift bag.  This is what the design from RW Shadowbox Valentine's Bag is for.
I tied the negative cut from the black paper onto the handle of the bag with some Aqua Midnight Trendy Twine.
Here is the shadowbox part...Behind the word Love is a shaker!  I used a silver heart and sequins in it.  Aqua rhinestones finished off the bag.
Now on to the card.  I simply resized the elements from the front of the bag to fit on an A2 card base.  I also omitted the shaker part from the bag front.
To embellish, I used silver rhinestones and Midnight Trendy Twine.  The papers I used on both projects are DCWV's All Dressed Up and Glitzy Glitter stacks.  I cut the "Love" words from vinyl.
