Springtime Love

Hello and a very happy Sunday to you.

 

Do you feel it too? Spring is on the way! The days are getting longer, the light is returning with all the little flowers....the snow is melting away (if you had any....don't get me started) Yup the signs are all there....even if it might take some time yet to call it Spring.

 

Well that doesn't mean that you can't have Spring inside the house. And in my home, I have started decorating for Spring. That is way I needed to make this adorable Candle Heart Cutout 3D Boxes from SnapDragon Snippets.

 

I used AC Cardstock in White along with patterned paper from Maja Design "Celebration" Then I tied some hemp cord around it and decorated with some Prima flowers from my stash and a little 3D butterfly sticker I also found hiding in my craft supplies.

 

 

It may not look like it, but it was totally easy to make and assemble - even if you are new to paper crafting and Jodi, who designed this, has a great tutorial for you to follow. It's so versatile - can be used for Mothers Day, Valentines Day, Birthdays, Weddings etc.

 

Well I'm off to unpacking after a 3 day trip to Amsterdam with my family - a fun but very busy little trip.

The Joy of Giving

Hello and happy 2nd Sunday of Advent

 

Today I want to show you a beautiful gift box I made from the new kit from SVG Attic. It's called JGW Christmas Botanica

 

 

The Poinsettia 3D Flower Topped Box is perfect for a small hostess gift or even a Christmas gift.

 

I made the box in AC Cardstock in Rouge, Crimson, Olive and White and decorated it with patterned paper from Swedish Maja Design Paper "I Wish" and Best Creation White Glitter Paper.

 

 

I inked all the edges with chalk ink from Prima and sprinkled some Glass Glitter Gold Rush from Finnabair onto the flower center. Finally I added some gold glitter dots to the snowflake.

 

 

I can't wait to be giving this one away.....

Poinsettia Passion ~ with Cyndy G

Happy Friday crafting friends.  Can you believe Christmas is one week away.  As always I am hurrying to get my cards done.  I decided to share with you today a couple of the cards from the amazing new kit JGW Poinsettia Passion.  I just LOVE this kit.  Everything is so beautiful.

I love the way this box card looks.  I used the beautiful papers of Maja Design - A Gift For You for this project.  I also used a tag on the front of the box card that I had from MME - Joyous.  

I think it fit this card perfectly.

For the doily card I used a brad from MME - Joyous.  I just love the Santa on the brad.

These cards really deliver the Wow factor.  Thank you for stopping by today.

Folk Art Turkey ~ with Cyndy G.

Hello crafters, hope you are all busy working on your holiday projects!  I know I continue to be :)  I wanted to share with you the AMAZING fold art Turkey Jodi created - it is in the JGW Turkey Trot kit.  I just love this little guy!

He was a lot of work but definitely worth the time!  I really like his head.

There is even a little detail for his back side so if you use him as your centerpiece 

he looks good from every angel.
