Good morning! Beth from Beth's Beauties here. Halloween is only a few short days away, so I decided to decorate this ceramic pumpkin for today's post.
The files from SVG Attic that I used on my pumpkin are the "F" Split Monogram (or you can purchase the whole split monogram alphabet HERE) and the swirls are from JGW Raven Quest.
To prepare the ceramic pumpkin, I sprayed it with white matte spray paint. Then I watered down black acrylic paint and dripped it down the crease lines to make a more grungy look. Here is a side view.
Yes, even the back is vinyled! I used orange and black permanent vinyl so it would for sure stick well.
Here is a close up of what I did to decorate the stem. I painted it black and then wrapped Orange Licorice Trendy Twine around it. Then I added a bow of burlap ribbon with a button in the center.
Last year I added vinyl to a real pumpkin. If you want to see that post, click HERE.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Mourner's Hat By Christi
Good Morning! It is a beautiful , crisp Sunday here and I wanted to share a Halloween project with you. I choose the unique Mourner's hat in the JGW Raven Quest Collection.
I am always looking for unique Halloween decorations for Halloween. It is my youngest daughter's favorite holiday. She even got married on Halloween 2 years ago and collects many beautiful pieces to keep up all year round. I thought this was something she could add to her collection.
Here are some close ups of the Flowers which are made by Prima. I just fell in love with these flowers when I found them and they have been in my stash FOREVER and was saving them for that special project. Well....this was that project.

Next came the bling! Every project isn't complete without a little bit of bling! This is Paper Studio from Hobby Lobby.
Last by not least I made the bow but added Mays art Black Ribbon to the center and around the brim of the hat. I also added a beautiful full purple feather and a small turquoise with black feather for that small touch of extra color.
I hope you have enjoyed my mourner's hat as much I did making it . Have a wonderful Sunday and a BEAUTIFUL week!
Blessings!

Gerbera Daisy Box with Beth
Happy Wednesday morning all! Beth from Beth's Beauties here today. For my project, I chose the papers I wanted to use first (from K & Company) and designed my project around those.
I started with the Hexagon Box from SVG Attic's Basic Deep Lid Boxes set. I absolutely LOVE the versatility of that set! They make a great base to decorate with endless possibilities.
That doily you see peeking through is from the Raven Quest set. I simply broke apart the lines of the doily file in my cutting software and deleted the skull and bat cuts that I didn't want.
The daisy is from Watering Wishes. I inked around the edges and added water drops of glossy accents on it. The leaves are from the Enchanted Autumn set.
I finished off the box by wrapping some ribbon and Watermelon Taffy and Tickled Pink Trendy Twines around the outside of the lid. I also placed some sequins on the top for a little sparkle.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!
Beth

Introducing I-Team Member Lisa Mensing
Hi everyone! My name
is Lisa Mensing. I’m so excited to be joining the SVG Attic Inspiration Team, what
an honor! I’m looking forward to working with these great files and sharing
them with you here. You can also find me at The Crafting Cave, my personal
blog. I would love for you to stop by and say hi sometime.
I was born and raised in Fayetteville,
North Carolina. I married a soldier and an amazing man. He is very supportive of everything I do. We retired in
2009, yes, I say we. Army wife is one tough, lonely job. We don’t have
kids but I do have a niece, Brittany, who likes to think she is ours. Love that
girl!
I work in my parent's business. I’m so lucky because I get to see my Dad nearly every day and my Mom most days. I also get to go to work, do what has to be done, and come home. It truly is an amazing job and it offers me a lot of free time for crafting and taking care of my home. I am one blessed girl.

When people say what is your crafting style, I say.....Seriously, I don’t have a style. I just go with whatever strikes
my fancy, you know, in the moment kind of girl. When it comes to cards I like
CAS over everything else but that doesn’t stop me from using those
embellishments!
If I have to pick a favorite project up to now.... it will be this Top Hat I made using the
Mourner’s Hat from Raven Quest Collection .
I had so much fun making this hat into a Spring/Easter Hat.
(click the link above)
I can take this hat
from Spring to Easter and back to Spring just by removing the little chocolate
bunny! I attached him to a wood dowel so that I could remove him without
damaging anything.
Hope you have an amazing day!
Lisa
