Santa Boxes, Turned Gift Boxes

Tracy from the Idea Closet today and I am sharing some fun new ways to give gifts.
I love these Santa boxes from SVG Attic but they are even more fun when used as gift boxes!
You can also really dress them up by using printed paper.
To enhance the image, run all the white/cream pieces through an embossing folder.

The first box is the Triangle 3D box from JGW Santa Can wait Collection

JGW Santa Cant Wait Christmas

Origanally designed as a Home Decor piece, I think he is the perfect size for giving a small and thoughtful gift.

The small Santa box is from tthe JGW Ho HO Holiday collection

JGW Ho Ho Holiday

This little box is so fun and easy to make, but I love all the details on it.

Place the mustache on the box with foam pop dots, this will really make it stand out!

The medium box is the same file, I just increased the size by 20%.
I also cut two of the fig branches instead of just one.
These little boxes can be hung on a tree when you add twine or a ribbon.

The back also has an opening, to make filling the boxes a snap!

If you are looking for a great way to share a little gift or treat, I hope you will try one of these Santa Boxes.

Thank you for following along today.

Fall Favor Boxes with Tracy

Happy Fall!
Tracy here from Idea Closet and today I have some fall favor boxes.
These little boxes would be perfect to use as place settings for Thanksgiving or just sharing some love with friends and neighbors this month.

They are also quick and easy to do!

I started by using the Triangle Deep Lid Box

SDS Basic Deep Lid Boxes
'
Next you just need to add a fall tag.

For the leaf box, I used the two leaf patterns from the
JGW Autumn Leaves Ornaments Tree

For the rest of the boxes, I used files from the
JGW Thanksgiving Ornaments Tree

There are still some cute tags I want to make so I will be doing some more of these boxes this month.

Grab your favorite fall paper and make some of these boxes today.
You will be glad you did (and so will those you share them with)!

Valentine Heart Box

Welcome to February, the month of love!
Tracy here, from the Idea Closet and today for my SVG Attic post I am excited to share a beautiful Valentine's day project.

This heart box reminds me of my Grandma.
Grandma had a couple of old vintage heart boxes, that my grandpa had given her.  Since she was one who always found a way to  re-purpose something, her boxes were decorated with buttons, bows and scraps of lace.  They were beautiful storage boxes that held letters, cards and other important items.
So when I first saw this heart box, I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it.

The box is part of the JGW Vintage Valentine Collection

You can follow Jodi's instructions here to cut and put it together.

I doubled up the inside liner pieces and it made the box very sturdy.
By using double sided printed cardstock for the sides, even the inside looks finished.

The paper I used is Bo Bunny Sweet Moments.
To finish it off, I used some of the elements from the Lid Embellishments but then I added flowers from the G is for Gratitude Collection and 2 keys from Snapdragon Snippets that can be found in the Silhouette store.
I cut two of each key to make them thicker.  I also used the small hearts from inside the key and added them to the lid as well.

Tie the tag and the keys with some baker's twine and you have a beautiful keepsake heart box.
What will you hold in yours?

Shaker Clam Shell Box with Angeline

Happy Monday!
Angeline from ScrappyScrappy -- here to share with you a shaker clam shell box I made using CG Under the Sea kit.

SVG Attic: Shaker Clam Shell Box with Angeline #svgattic #scrappyscrappy #underthesea #clamshellbox #shakercard #papercraft #svg #diecut #cutfile

This clam shell box is so unique because it mimics the porthole AND it is a SHAKER "card" box.
I added some under the sea creatures stamps that I have colored and cut out to adhere onto the base. Then I added a multi-colored glitter as the shaker element.

Here's the view from the top!

Hope you're inspired to make your very own shaker clam shell box!

Mini Album box with Angeline

Happy May!
Can you believe that almost half a year has just gone by? *phew*

Angeline here to share with you a box I made for a baby mini album I made for my friend who is pregnant with twins. Yup, twins! :)

I used the pie box from Holly's Holiday Gift Boxes. I love this box because you can see through it and it's a nice size for the album. Album here is 6"x6". For more on the album, please visit my blog HERE.

To decorate the box, I took the pieces from the mobile centerpiece (Baby Boy & Baby Girl kit) and glittered them up before I strung them with some twine.

For the sides of the box, I used this cute critters washi tape :)

Thanks for stopping and have an awesome week ahead!

Gerbera Daisy Box with Beth

Happy Wednesday morning all!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here today.  For my project, I chose the papers I wanted to use first (from K & Company) and designed my project around those.
I started with the Hexagon Box from SVG Attic's Basic Deep Lid Boxes set.  I absolutely LOVE the versatility of that set!  They make a great base to decorate with endless possibilities.
That doily you see peeking through is from the Raven Quest set.  I simply broke apart the lines of the doily file in my cutting software and deleted the skull and bat cuts that I didn't want.
The daisy is from Watering Wishes.  I inked around the edges and added water drops of glossy accents on it.  The leaves are from the Enchanted Autumn set.
I finished off the box by wrapping some ribbon and Watermelon Taffy and Tickled Pink Trendy Twines around the outside of the lid.  I also placed some sequins on the top for a little sparkle.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Christmas Gift Box ~ with Angeline Choo

Hi. It's Angeline here.

Christmas is coming and what better way to start preparing than making some gift boxes? :)

Today, I've used the box from the "G is for Gratitude" kit and turned it into a Christmas gift box.

All you need is some pretty Christmas patterned paper (I'm using paper by Webster's Pages) and some red flowers :)

I've also added red glitter buttons on the flowers for that extra festive mood.

Can you believe it's only about 6 weeks to go to Christmas?

Do be on the lookout this week for our Winter Wonderland Blog Hop which is coming. There will be lots of INSPIRATIONS and PRIZES coming your way :)

Shabby Chic St. Patty's Projects with Beth

Since St. Patrick's Day is right around the corner, I thought you would like to see a little more inspiration for that holiday!
First, I made a 4" square box and decided to go with a shabby chic feel on it.  I used the Lucky Me kit  for the Lucky Me and postage stamp cuts.  The box itself was from the Basic Deep Lid Boxes kit.
Here is a top view.  I added green bling, twine, glossy accents and white gel pen accents.  All the edges of the papers were inked with dark brown chalk ink.
I added green and white rumpled ribbon all around the lid and tied it in a double bow in the front.  The little glittered shamrock charm is cut from Snapdragon Snippets' March Charms set.  I added two layers of glossy accents to it so it really shines!
And of course, since it is a box, here it is opened!
This card is perfect for St. Patrick's Day, but could easily be used as a good luck card at any time of the year.  I used the Lucky Me kit from SVG Attic for the horseshoe postage stamp cuts.  The card base is 5" square.
To embellish it, I added several faux stitching and accent pen lines in black and white.  I added green bling, twine and a button.  I stamped a sentiment on a tag and inked those edges with green chalk.  The cute little glittered shamrock charm is cut from Snapdragon Snippets' March Charms set.
I hope you enjoyed these projects.  Have a wonderfully crafty day!

Easter Collection Preview

So I thought I would preview a new set that I will be releasing for SVG Attic in the near future and preview my stamp line available at ShabbyChicStampCo.com right now!

I used the Bunny Love stamp set, the matchbox file from the Be Mine SVG Collection and the bunnies are from a new collection releasing in a couple weeks, it has a TON of goodies in it for you! . I also used paper from Marcella K~Monkey Around (Must have been one of the very first paper pads I EVER purchased!), and twine is from The Twinery! I just love Easter!

Here is the project. It was very simple and quick!

Isn't it cute! You can use whatever colors you choose. Those adorable bunny marshmallow treats come in every color under the sun! I made this specifically for a boy and I think it came out great! The box is pre-scored and very easy to assemble, the hardest part is choosing the paper!

See that cute sentiment! I used the Bunny Love Stamp 'Ems created by SVG Attic for Shabby Chic Stamp Co. They are free downloadable SVG files for you to cut out with your electronic cutter and compatible software (SCAL or MTC) that match the shape of your stamps perfectly!

Thanks for joining me again here! Have a great super crafty day!
