Sweet Treats ~ with Cyndy G

Happy New Year!  I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Year's Eve celebration whether it was an evening out with friends or a quiet night at home.  I did the latter.  I enjoy being at home with my family.  Today I am sharing with you a Valentine project.  I know we just celebrated Christmas but with putting all the decorations away and cleaning out the children's closet and drawers to make room for the new, Valentine's day will be here before you know it.

Treat boxes and bag

I used the JGW Sweetest Heart kit with the new Graphic 45 - Mon Amour Collection.

Treat bag

This is the sweetest bag and it is so quick and easy to put together.

Treat boxes

These little boxes are so cute.  The perfect size for a little treat.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you have enjoyed my project today.

Do what inspires you,
Cyndy G

A Mother's Repose with Lisa

Welcome everyone! Lisa, from The Crafting Cave, with you today and I decided to step out of holiday mode completely with this post. Today I'm sharing a great way for anyone to present a
gift card at a baby shower.

Using JGW Santa's Repose 3D Chair  I created a baby themed chair for an expecting/ new mom.
If you don't have this chair in your arsenal of cut files I highly recommend it. There are some many things you can use it for. Here's a link to show my Halloween version.

This chair is not difficult to put together, just take your time, follow the directions provided and
you will be done in no time.

I used Baby Mine by Carta Bella Collection Kit. I will be making a boy version of this for a friends baby shower. You can find more details on my blog, The Crafting Cave.

As always, thank you for visiting and have an amazing week.

Christmas Layout with Beth

Hello crafty friends!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here.  Christmas has come and gone.  Now what do you do with all of the wonderful pictures you took?  Scrapbook them!
I made a two page layout from Christmas three years ago.  Yeah.  I am THAT far behind.  Anyway, the patterned papers I used are from DCWV's Oh What Fun stack.  They had a great color scheme to match my pictures.
The ornaments that I cut for the backgrounds are from the SDS Ornament Kit at SVG Attic.  I just made them very large to fit on my 12"x12" layouts.
The snowflakes that you see are cut from DCWV's Glitzy Glitter stack and those were also files from the SDS Ornament Kit.  There are lots of great elements in that kit!
To embellish, I used red and green rhinestones, white satin ribbon and Holly Berry Trendy Twine.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Merry Christmas Poinsettia Card with Beth

Merry Christmas to all of you! Today I wanted to take the time to thank all of you for being with the SVG Attic family for another wonderful year.
I created this elegant poinsettia card using a file from SVG Attic's Poinsettia Passion set.  I absolutely fell in love with this file as soon as I saw it.  It is so gorgeous!  I used Candy Cane Trendy Twine to create embellishing swirls around the poinsettia.
I also added a small bow of Trendy Twine to the sentiment panel.  The papers I used are from DCWV's Merry Memories and Mercury Glass stacks.
I hope you have a very blessed Christmas!

I used DCWV Candy Cane Lane Stack, DCWV Merry Memories Stack, Pebbles Home For Christmas 12 x 12 Papers, and Recollections Naughty or Nice 12 x 12 Papers. You can find more details on my blog. I was able to use up some of last years papers to make room for next years.  I re-sized the ornament so I could fill them with cookies.  These ornaments are easy to put together and everyone really enjoyed.

I hope you are having a Very Merry Christmas and have a Happy New Year!

Pretty Snowman

I am in Love! Tanya from Crafting on Caffeine here and I am excited!  I wanted to do something with the collection that has poinsettias but I just couldn't figure out what do I decided to do this snowman card. Then it came to me I would replace the snowflake on his hat with a poinsettia. EEKKKKK I got to make one! They are so so much fun!!! This snowman card is from the JGW Winter Friends Canister Collection.

I wanted to add dimension to the scarf so I thought I'd make a bow. I used 2 colors of Trendy Twine, Krafty Red and Peppermint Icicle

The Poinsettia is from JGW Poinsettia Passion Collection. I also used my eBrush on all the pieces, I love the pop it gives!

Hope you enjoyed! Have a Great Day and a Very Merry Christmas!
