Mini Album box with Angeline

Happy May!
Can you believe that almost half a year has just gone by? *phew*

Angeline here to share with you a box I made for a baby mini album I made for my friend who is pregnant with twins. Yup, twins! :)

I used the pie box from Holly's Holiday Gift Boxes. I love this box because you can see through it and it's a nice size for the album. Album here is 6"x6". For more on the album, please visit my blog HERE.

To decorate the box, I took the pieces from the mobile centerpiece (Baby Boy & Baby Girl kit) and glittered them up before I strung them with some twine.

For the sides of the box, I used this cute critters washi tape :)

Thanks for stopping and have an awesome week ahead!

Baby Boy Card with Angeline

Hello! :)
Angeline here to share with you a baby boy card I made using the Baby Boy kit.

SVG Attic: Baby Boy Card with Angeline #svgattic #scrappyscrappy #babyboy #card #svg #cutfile

I used the cupcake toppers and put it on my card instead and I added some foam tape to it for that extra POP! The sentiment I got it from the banner and shrunk it to fit my card.

SVG Attic Guest Designer - Melissa Miranda

Hey, it is Melissa here from M Miranda Creations and I am excited to be Guest Designing again today for you here on the SVG Attic blog! I hope you are having an awesome Wednesday!!!

Well, you might remember that my first post this month was baby themed, and I am still in the baby mood!!! Sssh! I have a baby shower to help plan soon, so it is on my mind!!!

For this fun gift box, I used the Cottontail Bunny Kit and the Baby Boy Kit.

I really like to watch little boys when they are fascinated by a plane, train, or automobile. If fact, some cute little plastic transportation toys might be the perfect thing to stuff in this box. It would also be the perfect size for some socks or onesies to give you a few ideas. The finished box is 5" W x 3.5" H x 1.75" L (deep). For more information on the supplies used to create this, stop by my blog.

Thank you for dropping in today and I hope you will stop by the SVG Attic store to see all the fun SVG collections they have for you there.

Blessings,

SVG Attic Guest Designer - Melissa Miranda

Hey SVG Attic Fanatics! I am so excited to be joining you today. This is Melissa from M Miranda Creations and I am today's Guest Designer.

I love making cards, so that is what I have for you today. I used files from two different sets - Tent Cards and Baby Boy. Great thing about this card is that it can also be used as a centerpiece on the tables for a baby shower or as a baby announcement (just take off the 'Congrats').

The card is A2 size (5 1/4" x 4 1/2"). I used Coredinations Teal Stripe and Moonstone cardstocks and Recollections white cardstock. The base of the card is from the Tent Cards collection. Just open the file and follow the instructions on the PDF to get the card to the size you'd like. The onesie, plane, train, and the 'It's a Boy' phrase are all from the Baby Boy collection. The 'Congrats' is a die and does not come with either collection.

To make the card, I first assembled my base partially by attaching the bottom piece to the back panel of the card. I then cut a piece of white cardstock to 5 7/8' x 4 3/8" and attached it to the inside on the back panel. I did this to make it sturdier since the Coredinations paper is a lighter weight cardstock and to cover up the seam at the bottom where the bottom panel attached to the back panel. I did not want that seam to show when you look through the window in the front. For the front, I ran the oval insert piece through my Cuttlebug in the Swiss Dots embossing folder and attached it to the inside of the front panel of the card. I then added my wording to my onesie and used foam squares on the edge of the sleeves and at the very bottom of the onesie to pop this piece off the inside front panel. I then added the plane and train with a piece of Tickled with Teal Trendy Twine to the front of the card also using foam squares to add another layer of dimension. Once everything was added I attached the front panel to the bottom panel and was finished.

I wish you could see the card in person. The moonstone cardstock for the onesie, plane, and train is a shimmer paper that is just beautiful on this project. I hope you will give this a try and then share your finished piece on the SVG Attic Fanatics FB Group. I'd love to see all the color/paper combos you all could come up with! Also stop by the store to see all the fun collections and get creative!

I will see you again later this month; but until then, I invite you to stop by my blog - M Miranda Creations. Have a fantastic Wednesday!

Blessings,

Baby Boy Onesie Card with Beth

Today I am sharing a card with you that I made for Jessica at SVG Attic.  She welcomed her baby Carter into this world today!  I thought I would surprise her with a baby card made with files that she created :)
The onesie and boat element are from the Baby Boy set at SVG Attic.  The patterned paper is from DCWV's Spring matstack.
I added three metal embellishments to the bottom of the onesie and faux stitching lines to mimic the look of a real one.  Plus I used tan chalk around it to create more dimension.  I also used my swiss dots folder to emboss the white background and the white circle behind the sailboat.

If you like the cuts on this project, head on over to SVG Attic and see what files they have!  Plus their files are on sale off for a limited time, so it is the perfect time to pick some up.  This is their newest kit, Winter Wishes.  Isn't it gorgeous?
To get this set free, add a minimum of $9.98 to your shopping cart, then add this new set to your cart and use the coupon code FREE on step two of the checkout process!

Baby Card and Gift bag with Beth

Hello everyone!  This is Beth from Beth's Beauties and I am back today to show you some adorable baby projects that I made with SVG Attic's files.

The first one that I would like to share is a diaper card that I made using the Baby Boy set.  I cut the diaper invite at 8.5" wide for the card itself.  The circle on the front made by cutting the bottom, middle and car from the cupcake wrapper files in the Baby Boy set at 8.5" wide.  I added the stamped sentiment on a hand-cut banner and two diaper pin brads that are the Recollections brand.
My second project is a gift bag that is made using the exact same Baby Boy set!  Yes, it is for a girl, but I used the onesie from that set and cut it at 5.3" wide.  The gift bag itself is from the Basic Gift Bags collection and is the tall handled gift bag cut at 11.3" wide. The Scalloped oval is from the Holiday Cheer Gift Boxes set and it is cut at 4.5" wide.
To make the onesie girly even though it was from the boy set, I used a beautiful flower from purse 1 in the Pretty Purses set and cut it out at 6.5" wide.  I added a bow and it was done!
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

DT Tuesday with Tee

Lions and Monkies and Elephants - Oh My!  I am so excited to share with you today all the elements I made for my niece, Merissa's, baby shower.

First, I used the booties from the Baby Boy collection as nut and candy holders - everyone loved them so much they refused to put the nuts and candy in afraid it would get the booties dirty *sigh*

Then I used the mobile from the Baby Boy collection for my centerpieces. Each table (thankfully there were only 4) had a different animal.. I loved telling guest as they came in "Oh, there is room at the elephant table". hehe

And of course, I had to make a cake to tie everything together.. Don't you just love the Baby Boy collection????
