Repurposing Easter Files with Lisa

Hi, everyone and welcome! Lisa from The Relativity of Paper sharing a few ideas on how to use those Easter files throughout the Summer. Using Easter Elements and JGW Happy Easter (carrot) I created three simple cards that would be ideal for someone who loves to garden.

So using the carrot from the JGW Happy Easter - Upright Bunny Box I created this fun carrot themed card. The sentiment reads I CARROT believe I forgot, perfect for belated birthdays.

Using the tulip from the Easter Elements, I cut Canson XL Watercolor paper and inked with Distress Inks adding a sentiment that can be used for several occasions.

Using the Peeps Bunny from the Easter Elements it's easy to create various bunny themed cards, the sentiment reads, There's no bunny like you. There are also several "peep" sentiments that can be used throughout the year, too.

You can find all the details on my blog, The Relativity of Paper.

As always, thanks for joining us!

Window Box Cards with Lisa

Hi, everyone and welcome! Today I'm sharing my take on the Window Box Card from the CG Box Cards 2 Collection. This card comes together quickly. I did a little embossing with a wood grain and stamped a die-cut banner for the sentiment. Originally I had embossed blue cardstock with clouds for the window, and then I thought you're looking in and maybe plaid, thinking wallpaper, would be cute. Scroll down to see how I used the embossed blue cardstock.

So while I was putting the finishing touches on this card, I got to thinking(scary) what if I pulled a few files from other SVG Attic Collections and created an Easter Card. So back to the machine I head cutting the Window Box Card minus the flowers. I then grabbed the carrot from the JGW Happy Easter Upright Bunny Box and the Chocolate Bunny from the SVG Attic Easter Elements for resizing and cutting.

I stamped the wood grain, embossed the clouds, die-cut the banner and fence, stamped my sentiment and finished off with pearls.

Feel free to join me on my blog, The Relativity of Paper for all the details on this project.

As always, thanks for joining us!

Happy Easter Card with Angeline

Happy Monday!
Angeline here to share with you an EGG-tra special card I made using the JGW Happy Easter kit.
I saw this card and knew how FUN it would be to make it.

I cut the "painted" areas using white cardstock and then actually painted it using some watercolors. I couldn't decide on what color the egg would be, so why not a rainbow colored egg? :) I also added some glitter to it to make it even more special.

Trio of Trio Cards with Beth

Hello my crafty friends!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here, and I decided to make three cards since I needed to get more of those made!
First up is a card that is going to my sister and brother-in-law as today they finalize the adoption of their sweet little princess!  It is a great day for all of us :)  The Crown Trio card file comes from the JGW Off To The Ball set.  I popped the center crown up with foam tape and embellished the card with sequins and Tickled Pink Trendy Twine.  These patterned papers are from DCWV's Nana's Nursery Baby Girl stack.
Next, I created the Easter Egg trio card that is in the JGW Happy Easter set.  Easter is only a month away and I knew I needed to get motivated on those Easter cards!  The eggs are popped up with foam tape and I added three pearls by the sentiment.  The patterned papers are from the Dear Lizzy Neapolitan paper pad.
Finally, I created the pencil trio card from JGW Campus Capers.  This one will be great to write a note to a teacher or even save it for Teacher Appreciation Week later this spring.
I embossed the pencils with a linear embossing folder, popped the pencils up with foam tape, and added Totally Black Trendy Twine at the bottom to look like writing.  These patterned papers are from DCWV's Grade School stack.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Bunny Box

I hope everyone enjoyed the Spring Hop as much as we did.  I am so happy to see spring!  I have to admit it is my favorite time of year.  For my project today I made the cute little bunny box from the new JGW Happy Easter Kit.  Added bonus, I got to use more of my Graphic 45 - Once Upon a Springtime.

He was so quick and easy to put together that I made a little family!

Doesn't he have the cutest little face.  There is just enough detail to give him character.

If you want a quick and easy project for your Easter gatherings this should be on your list.
