Sam the Scarecrow

Now that Halloween is over, this means one thing for the Inland Northwest. Snow. Nope. No. Naughta. NOT ready for the white stuff! We've lucked out and have only seen it once in our elevation so far! While trying to desperately hold onto all of the lovely colors of fall, I felt Sam needed to be assembled from the JGW Sam the Scarecrow file.

For my Sam, I downsized him just a smidge to maximize the usage of the papers I chose.
The only thing I changed on the crow was I added googly eyes rather than paper ones just to make it fun.
I added hay to all the places I imagine hay would stick out on a scarecrow.

Believe it or not all leaves were picked up off the lawn last weekend. Then the wind came and blew the tree bare. Which is perfect for my photo op, not so much for the husband who has to get them all picked up before the pending snow storm this weekend.
I just liked the sparkle on his nose in this one!
Sam is a happy scarecrow in his element.

Materials Used:

Pumpkin and Apple Basket Fall Decor with Beth

Good morning all!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here with you today!  Fall will be here in just a couple of days, so I created this fall decor to share with you.
For the apple basket, I used the file from JGW Fall Ensemble.  There is a great tutorial HERE to help with assembly.  Papers are from DCWV's Pumpkin Patch stack.  I added a small bow of Totally Pumpkin Trendy Twine to the front.
The pumpkin is from the JGW Falling Leaves set.  Tutorial for that is HERE.  The leaf with vine is from the JGW Sam the Scarecrow set and it worked perfectly on the pumpkin!  Once again, all the papers are from DCWV's Pumpkin Patch stack.  I wrapped some Totally Chocolate and Spiced Pumpkin Trendy Twines around the pumpkin.

Here is a look at the sets that I used:

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

He's Alive ~ with Cyndy G.

"He's alive."  How many of you thought of Frankenstein when you read this line,?  Well you will not be disappointed.  Today I am sharing my version of Frankenstein and his Bride.  They were so much fun to make.  I used JGW Sam the Scarecrow and Spooky Friends to create this wonderful couple.

Frankenstein and the Bride of Frankenstein

I am very pleased with how these two turned out.  I think they have the cutest faces.

I used a sticker to string between Frankenstein's arms.

I also used a sticker for the Bride of Frankenstein's banner.

I hope you have enjoyed my project today.  I had so much fun creating these two.

Do what inspires you,
Cyndy G.
