Got Leftovers? with Lisa

Happy Friday! It's Lisa from, In the Crafting Cave, here to share with you today.
Using THANKFUL FRIENDS SVG COLLECTION AND THANKFUL CAPTIONS I created  a treat bag and a bag for leftovers.

TREAT BAG
SVG Attic Basic Gift Bag with Thankful Friends and Thankful Captions
I used Thankful Friends SVG CollectionThankful Captions and Basic Gift Bags SVG Collection to create this little gift bag. It would be perfect for some candies or a candle.

GOT LEFTOVERS?
Every year it's the same thing at my parents home. We eat, we have leftovers, we go back the next day for lunch and eat again. What? We have more leftovers! Then we run around the kitchen looking for something to put the leftovers in. And all the while, my mom is saying....."I don't care, just get it out of my house". Sounds fun, huh? Well, no more! This year I'm ending the crazy leftover game. This year everyone will be receiving a leftovers bag with plastic food containers inside them. Step right up and get your leftovers here. That's the new game we will be playing. HA!

with American Crafts Give Thanks patterned papers to cut the files.  I used a kraft gift bag, and dressed it up with washi tape, enamel dots, and ribbon. Be sure to put names on the tags.

These plastic storage containers can be bought at the dollar store and they fit perfectly in the
gift bag.

weekend is leftover free!

Guest Designer: Migdalia R.

Good day to all my bloggy friends.
It's Migdalia from Crafting with Creative M and I am super EXCITED to be guest designing today! Woohoo!!

For my 1st post as guest designer my projects all were created with a Thanksgiving theme in mind.
1st project:
I used 3 of the files from SVG Attic's Enchanted Autumn set.
This is such a beautiful set and easy to assemble as well.
The festive patterned papers are from DCWV's "The Autumn Melody".
I used the Pumpkin Stencil file (which can also be used as vinyl tiles) to create a shaker card.
I filled my shaker card with the Autumn Sequins Mix.
Made a double bow with white ribbon and Spiced Pumpkin Trendy Twine.
I stamped the sentiment "blessed" on a handmade tag and added pearls.

For the Maple Leaf Handle Box, I adhered mini gold dew drops and a
bow. I placed a "Ferrero Rocher" inside of this wonderful treat.

I stamped the sentiment "Thankful" on a handmade tag, added a mini gold dew drop which I then adhered it to my pretty bow.

This is one of my favorite cards EVER!! and Yes!
It is a shaker card which I created with the Grateful Gathering Card file.
I filled my shaker card with the Autumn Sequins Mix.
Made a double bow with brown ribbon & Spiced Pumpkin Trendy Twine and then I placed a pearl on the center of the pretty bow.

2nd project:
As soon as I saw the Pilgrim Man & Pilgrim Woman from SVG Attic's Thankful FriendsI thought about creating something fun for kids.
I used the In The Garden Face Assortment from PKS, doodled with a white gel pen and then adhered each one to a popsicle stick.

These cuties are the Native Man & Native Woman also from SVG Attic's Thankful Friends. Adorable, right?

You can find more wonderful SVG files in the SVG Attic Store.
Also, don't forget to like the SVG Attic Facebook Page and as well as
joining the SVG Attic Fanatics group on Facebook.

Thank you SVG Attic for this amazing opportunity!
I am having so much fun!!

Thank you for stopping by today.
Have a wonderful day.

The Journey of Seventy Boots with Lisa

I want to start today's post with thank you!  Thank you to all the veterans
who served and continue to serve this country, I am forever grateful to you.

Lisa from, The Crafting Cave, sharing The Journey of Seventy Boots
with you today. This past August, I was asked to make a few table decorations
for a Warriors on the Water Committee Dinner that was held at my parents home. So I let the wheels turn and decided I would use the 3D Combat Boot Box from JGW My Hero Collection.  I made five of the boots.

SVG Attic JGW 3D Combat Boot Box

I used Kraft Paper to create the boot, bakers twine for the laces, black and grey cardstock to make the dog tags. My intention was to add these mini flags to the boots and I love the way they turned out.
Here's where the story becomes interesting!

I get a phone call the evening of the dinner from my mom that went something
like this:
Mom: "Hey, whatcha doin?"
Me: Nothing, why?
Mom: "Everyone really likes the boots.
Me: Good, I'm glad.
Mom: They need 70 MORE!
Me: 70? Okay.
And this is the beginning of the journey. The way I see it, one of two things will play out.
I will make the seventy boots or I will lose my mind in the process! Either way, it's for
an amazing cause. For one day, a returning soldier from Iraq and/or Afghanistan is offered a full day of bass fishing in a tournament, hence the name, Warriors on the Water. The 3D Combat Boot Box couldn't be more perfect for this.

I have plenty of time, they aren't needed until April and I already have five made!
You can follow the journey over on my blog, In The Crafting Cave, from the beginning to their final destination as centerpieces at the WOW IceBreaker.

Thank you for taking the time to pop in and
I hope you have an amazing day!

Preview of Christmas Card Collection

Hello, Tanya from Crafting on Caffeine here today and I am so excited to share with you all a preview of an upcoming collection. Love these Christmas cards, the aspect of nature in all of them is what draws me to them!
Hope you enjoy each one of them as much as I do!
***Edited- this collection is called JGW Pinecones and Holly Card Kit***

This first one is of course a christmas wreath, I added glossy accents to the berries to make them pop.

I popped the heart on this on and put it on a wobble for something different.

here it is in action.

This one might be my fav if I had to choose. Although I do love them all! I just love the intricate of all the pieces.

Yes I had fun with my twine on this one.

Wanted to add a bit of different colors for this one.

My hubby loves pine cones. I did use my eBrush with my copic for the shading on this one. So so happy with the results.

Here is a list of what else was used for these cards.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Hope you have a great day!

Turquoise and Red Christmas Cards with Beth

Good morning all!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here.  I have been in the Christmas mood lately, so I created two cards for that season.
The first one is from SVG Attic's JGW Crystal Winter set.  Isn't this mitten card cute?  I used patterned papers from DCWV's Oh What Fun stack and added a bow of Peppermint Icicle Trendy Twine.
The second card I made was based off of the patterned paper that I had.  It is from Oriental Trading Co.  The die cut trees that I used to mimic the paper are from the trio trio card from SVG Attic's SDS 3D Tree Trio set.  I simply used them on my own card base instead of the one included in the set.  I also made them slightly different sizes.
The trees are popped up at different levels with foam tape.  For the finishing touch, I wrapped Peppermint Icicle Trendy Twine around the base and added a triple bow.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Frosty the Snowman ~ with Cyndy G.

Happy Friday!  Today for my post I wanted to share my Snowman canister.  Some of my favorite files to work with are the canister characters!  He is from the JGW Winter Friends Canister Kit.  I love this guy, he is so cute.

Snowman canister

I decided to use some tan paper with snowflakes I had for this project.  I really like the way he came out.  What I love most about these files is you can use traditional colors or try something different and still come out with a stunning finished product.

I love all his little details.  His scarf, glove and snowflake to top off his hat.

Thank you for stopping by today, I hope you have a great weekend!

Do what inspires you,
Cyndy G.

Harvest Time

The colors, the smells, the chill in the air it all means one thing, harvest time! Hello SVG Attic fanatics! Guest Designer Sonja with Sugar Bean Cards here. I am honored to be a guest designer for such a great organization. I had a lot of fun making this project presented to you today!

Pumpkins, apples, corn, leaves, family gatherings are all the great things to remember what holidays are for! For this project, I used several files to compile one large autumn scene.

Giving thanks is a big association to this time of year! I felt the 'Give Thanks' pilgrims from the Harvest Blessing files was perfect!

This pilgrim hat from SDS Pilgrims Prayer is one to fall (no pun intended) in love with!

A box card full of apples in a barrel from the Harvest Wishes kit is a perfect reminder to get working on those apple pies!

Files used:
JGW Harvest Blessing: Pilgrims
SDS Harvest Feast: Acorns
SDS Pilgrims Prayer: Pilgrim hat
Harvest Wishes: Autumn Barrel Card
JGW Turkey Trot: Medium Acorn on a stick
Silhouette Design store for the following (under Snapdragon Snippets):
3D Bushel
3D Pumpkins
3D Apples

Enjoy your fall and family all and thank you for stopping by!
