Smart Phone Card with Beth

Good morning all!  This is Beth from Beth's Beauties with another project from SVG Attic's files.  When I saw the Here's To You Dad kit at SVG Attic, I knew I needed to make this card for my youngest brother's birthday.  He loves anything and everything technological.  I tried to make it look as much like his phone as possible.  I also customized the date on the front to be the date of his birthday.
I even added words underneath all of the flaps on the front...
He LOVED it :)  With so many people using smart phones, I am sure you know someone who would be thrilled to receive a card like this too!

If you missed the Facebook post about the blog hop winner...The lucky winner from the Christmas in July Blog Hop this past weekend was Camille S.  Camille, please send Jessica an email at info@svgattic.com to claim your prize!

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Butterfly Candy Box by Jearise

I made the cutest butterfly candy box today using a Christmas file from SVG Attic. Yes, that's right, a Christmas file. Even though these files were developed with Christmas giving in mind they can be used all year long for special little gifts and giving or even decorating.

I used the little candy box from the Stocking Stuff set to make this.

My own little butterfly candy box.
I cut a butterfly out of the paper I used to make the box and I sprayed it with glimmer mist and added some Stickles and hot glued it to the side to cover where the box came together. Here's a close up.
Check out this set and all the wonderful cutting file sets at SVG Attic and right now enjoy a BIG sale in the store but only for a limited time so you better hurry on over.

SVG Attic Christmas In July Blog Hop

Welcome to the Christmas in July blog hop!
We are so glad that you decided to hop along with us today.  Sit back and enjoy the beautiful projects that the SVG Attic design team has created.

This is the first stop on the blog hop.  There will be a prize to one lucky person who completes it!  To be eligible for the $20 SVG Attic gift card, you must leave a comment on all four blogs in the hop.  One winner will be randomly selected.  We would also love it if you would become a follower of our blogs, but it is not a requirement to win.

SVG Attic (You are here!)
Beth (Go here next.)

This project is one that is very versatile.  It is a beautiful gift bag that can be re-sized to fit a small jewelry box or large enough to give a book or a shirt.  This one in particular measures about 5" high (excluding the wire handles.)
I used the Ornament Bag files from the Holiday Cheer Gift Boxes set.  I imported the files and made sure to keep the proportions and then re-sized them to be 5.5" wide.  I used olive green cardstock for the front, back and sides.  Then I re-cut the front and back using designer paper from Cloud 9 Design called Seasonal.  The top of the ornament was cut out of shimmery gold cardstock and attached with two gold brads on each side.  The handles are made from 24 gauge gold jewelry wire.  I cut the wire to 8" long and wrapped the wire around itself to form a oval.

The bow on the front is from the Present Gift Box from the Make A Wish SVG set.  I cut it out of burgundy cardstock at 11.4" wide.  I used brown chalk around the edges and embossed it with a snowflake embossing folder.

The tag is from the Pillow Box files from the Holiday Cheer Gift Boxes set and was cut at 5.25" wide.  I punched a hole it it and added some baker's twine to attach it to the bag and stamped it so it is ready to use at Christmas time!

I hope you enjoyed this Christmas gift bag and don't forget to leave a comment on all four blogs in this hop for your chance to win the $20 gift card to SVG Attic!

Now head on over to Beth's blog to see what she has in store for you.

Farm Themed Tissue Box Cover

Hello everyone, this is Beth from Beth's Beauties back with another crafty project!  When SVG Attic came out with their Feel Better Soon SVG kit, I was crazy excited.  I am a nurse, so is my husband, my sister, my Mother-in-law, several cousins, aunts, etc.  It is just plain and simple an amazing set!  I knew I wanted to experiment with the tissue box covers that are in that kit and the inspiration for this project came from my little boys :)  They have a John Deere themed bedroom that is full of fun farm things.  I thought I would dress up their tissue box so it would match their room decor!  I used the Down on the Farm SVG collection for all of the adorable farm cut outs.

Here is the first side.  The barn is embossed with a striped embossing folder to make it look like a real barn. The other cuts on this side include the fence, a cloud and a chick.
The second side has a blonde little farmer boy on it.  I used peachy keen stamps for his face.  He is holding a pitchfork.  The other die cuts include a fence, cloud, the sun, a chick, a pig and the mud.
The third side has the tractor on it, which is green, of course!  The silo was a great addition to this side and it also has a cloud and more fence.
On the final side I added a sheep, haystack, one more chick and of course the fence and two more clouds.

I also JUST found out that SVG Attic is having a 60% off sale TODAY ONLY!!  That means you could get both of these SVG sets for a crazy low price...any any other ones that you have been eyeing :)  So head on over and take advantage of this sale today!
I hope you enjoyed this project!  Have a wonderfully crafty day!

Graduation Cards plus more

Some graduation parties are still going and there are sure to be more in everyone's future and SVG Attic has the perfect set to make the card to give. The set is Hat's Off and I made two cards using the money holder card.

The colors I chose to use are the graduates' school colors and I left the top inside panel blank so I could right each graduate a personal message. I love the way the kids are going to have to rip open the card to get their money out. How cool is that! You assemble the card, stick the money in and then just glue the very edge.

This is only one of the cards to the set plus there are other great things to help the graduate help celebrate his/her special day.

Don't forget to check out the new set called Make a Wish!

Tray Wagon

Hi everyone Monica here I hope everyone had a fabulous Fourth of July.  We all went down to the river to see the city where I live do fireworks and this year it was just not the same.  Seems like everything is just changing.  I think it lasted maybe 20 minutes...  Anyways it is always nice to spend time with family and friends so it it was worth the trip.  Now for my project.

I created this tray wagon by using pieces from SVG Attics Go Green file and Moms English Garden.  I used the clover flower and tray.
I outlined the cart with some ribbon from May Arts
This is great for putting some candy, cookies etc... in

I hope everyone enjoyed my post and thanks for stoppping by!!
Have some SVG Attic files we would love to see what you create!!
