Pot Of Gold with Beth

Hello everyone!  Over the last couple weeks there have been some changes at SVG Attic.  Most importantly, it has switched owners.  SVG Attic is now owned by Mike and Kenzie Daley who are the creators of SnapDragon Snippets.  They really have wonderful designs available in the Silhouette store, so head over there to check them out!

For this week's project I combined the Pot O' Gold file by SnapDragon Snippets with the Go Green set from SVG Attic to make this darling St. Patrick's Day decoration.
I sized the Pot O' Gold file so that the biggest piece was 11.5" to make it as large as I could.  Next I sized the shamrock border from the Go Green set to 0.5" tall.  I cut the base from green adhesive vinyl and the top layer out of gold glitter vinyl.  Using vinyl made the layering and adhering to the pot a breeze!  I used 3.5 lengths of the border to go all around the top.  I also saved some of the negative shamrock cuts out of the gold vinyl for embellishments for the bottom of the pot.
Around the middle of the pot, I wrapped jute ribbon first, then added embroidery floss in the colors of the rainbow for a pop of color.  The shamrock is from the Go Green set.  I added a twine bow and the sentiment tag to finish it off.
At the bottom I added another shamrock that I cut out, several green sequins, the gold vinyl shamrock cuts that I saved from the border and tiny dots of gold glitter.
Best of all, the pot also opens up so it can hold even more treats!
To find an assembly tutorial for the Pot O' Gold, you can go HERE.

UPDATE:  You can now find the Pot O' Gold (and many other cute files) on SVG Attic in the set called Charmingly Green!

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Tray Wagon

Hi everyone Monica here I hope everyone had a fabulous Fourth of July.  We all went down to the river to see the city where I live do fireworks and this year it was just not the same.  Seems like everything is just changing.  I think it lasted maybe 20 minutes...  Anyways it is always nice to spend time with family and friends so it it was worth the trip.  Now for my project.

I created this tray wagon by using pieces from SVG Attics Go Green file and Moms English Garden.  I used the clover flower and tray.
I outlined the cart with some ribbon from May Arts
This is great for putting some candy, cookies etc... in

I hope everyone enjoyed my post and thanks for stoppping by!!
Have some SVG Attic files we would love to see what you create!!

Baby Congrats Card

Happy Friday everyone!!  Nicole here, and I want to share with you a card I made for our elementary school principal and his wife because they are having a child soon.  I used the Baby Girl Set and cut the onesies out in different colored papers.  The grass border is from the Easter Elements set and the clouds are from the Go Green set.  I hand cut my clothesline poles and tied some twine on.  The tiny clothespins I found at my local grocery store in their craft aisle, aren't they adorable!  I made this a 5x7 card so I could fit all of these fun cuts on the front without too much crowding.  The sentiment is from ShabbyChicStampCo's "greeting set".

inside of card - added another onesie here too:-)
Don't forget that the St. Patrick's day sets are 50% off until March 17th.  Make sure to check out the current freebie file - it can also be purchased at a 25% discounted rate if you would prefer.

Leprechaun Hat using St. Patricks Day "Go Green" Set

Hello everybody and happy Monday!!  Nicole here, hoping you had a great weekend and that your Monday is off to a good start:-)  I wanted to share with you a shaped card I made using the Leprechaun Hat from the "Go Green" svg set.  I created a shadow using SCAL 3 and welded 2 of the shadows together to create the base of the card.  I cut out 2 hats, one in black for the outside of the card and the other in a light green for the inside of the card.  I did a little embossing with my cuttlebug, a little doodling with my white gel pen and used some green liquid pearls to jazz up the card.  The sentiment is hand written by moi.  I hope this inspires your creativity for St. Patrick's Day.  There are some great sets at SVG Attic to help you get your Irish on:-)  Check out the set I used and the Celtic Knots set (I will have a project for you in the future using this set:-)
