Introducing I-Team Member Beth Fiscus

Hello everyone!  My name is Beth Fiscus.  I have been a part of the SVG Attic design team for over a year, so you probably know of me or have seen some of my projects already.  I am the Inspiration Team Coordinator and hope to share my love of these wonderful files with the rest of the new team and all of you.  My personal blog is Beth's Beauties and I'd love for you to stop by for a visit sometime!
I have a wonderfully supportive husband, who encourages me to be creative!  We live in a small town of 600 people, where everyone knows everyone else :)  We have three very energetic boys, ages 7, 4, and 2 who definitely keep me busy!  For the most part, I am a stay at home mom, but I am a nurse by occupation and I work in a local nursing home 1-2 nights per week.

Here is a little bit more about myself...
Born and Raised:  Nebraska- I grew up on a farm where I learned so very much about family, religion, hard work and dedication.  It is also where I was taught how to sew and do hand embroidery at the age of 5, which planted the seed of creativity in my heart!
            Places I've Lived: NEBRASKA
Style: I can't say that I have a specific style.  I love elegant and fancy things, but I create with all different mediums, vinyl, paper, fabric, wood, the list goes on and on.
Favorite Project:  I think my favorite project changes from time to time, but since the holidays are approaching, this one is my favorite...at least for now!

(Click the above link to take you to the original post for more details.)

I loved creating this book using such gorgeous designer paper!  It was so fun to decide what paper should go where so it would compliment each other just right!
I love that pretty poinsettia!
The embellishments were also very fun to play with.
The best part...it opens up to hold treats!

The sets I used on this project are:

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Anything Goes July Contest! Last Weekend to enter

Don't forget to enter your SVG Attic projects in the July Anything Goes Contest!  Wouldn't you love to win?

Prizes

First Place:  $25 Gift Certificate to SVG Attic
Second Place:  $15 Gift Certificate to SVG Attic
Third Place:  $10 Gift Certificate to SVG Attic
Click this link for the post with all of the details and rules.

My project today is using the Deep Lid Boxes kit  and Mom's English Garden.

The box is a snap to put together and so is the beautiful Gerber daisy.  I quickly quilled a center for the daisy so to make a 'handle" for the little box.  I chose some fun summer colors and now I have a cute box to use for a gift, or even for decoration!

I hope you enjoyed today's project and that you are inspired to enter before the end of the month.

Poinsettia Book Gift Box with Beth

I can't tell you how excited I am to share this project with you!  It is the perfect combination of gorgeous papers with wonderful SVG files.  Without further ado, here is my poinsettia book gift box...
Don't you agree?  These papers were meant to be made into this book.  Honestly.  They are the from The Paper Parade and the collection is called Reflections Christmas by Echo park.  The chipboard embellishments are also part of that collection.  All of the SVG files in this project are from different collections from SVG Attic.  The book itself is from the Nevermore collection.  Yes, that is a Halloween set, but inspiration comes from all places, doesn't it?  The beautiful poinsettia is from Winter Wishes and the swirls are part of the card that is in the Mom's English Garden set.
On the poinsettia, I inked around all of the edges of the die cuts and slightly bent them in the middle to give the leaves and petals a more realistic look.  For the center I went around the outside of the circles with Platinum stickles and then added glossy accents to them.  I added self adhesive rhinestones to the swirls for a little bit of sparkle.
To break up the binding, I used some simply red rumpled ribbon, chipboard embellishments and a key that was tied with twine.
The best part is that the book is a gift box!  This is a view of book opened with a surprise inside!  I hope you have enjoyed this as much as I did making it.

Have a wonderfully crafty day!

Tray Wagon

Hi everyone Monica here I hope everyone had a fabulous Fourth of July.  We all went down to the river to see the city where I live do fireworks and this year it was just not the same.  Seems like everything is just changing.  I think it lasted maybe 20 minutes...  Anyways it is always nice to spend time with family and friends so it it was worth the trip.  Now for my project.

I created this tray wagon by using pieces from SVG Attics Go Green file and Moms English Garden.  I used the clover flower and tray.
I outlined the cart with some ribbon from May Arts
This is great for putting some candy, cookies etc... in

I hope everyone enjoyed my post and thanks for stoppping by!!
Have some SVG Attic files we would love to see what you create!!
