Happy Autumn

Happy Sunday to you and thank you so much for joining me today.

For the final Autumn projects this year I chose to make the cute 3D Owl from the JGW Autumn Aire kit:

I used AC Cardstock in Coffee, Chocolate, Caramel, Rust and Latte along with patterned paper from Echo Park's "A Perfect Autumn" and woodgrain patterned paper from Simple Stories.

All edges are inked with Distress Ink and I used some hemp cord to tie around the belly of the Owl.

I also doodled some highlights in his eyes with a white Sharpie.

He is quite large and sooooooo adorable not to mention very easy to make.

I also made the Oak Leaf Wreath:

I used AC Cardstock in Chocolate, Latte, Pomegranate, Leaf, Apricot, Mustard, Goldfish, Plum, Rouge and Wine for this.

All edges are inked with Distress Ink and the leaves and the berries are embossed with different embossing folders from Darice and Sizzix.

I also used pop dots to add the leaves to give it more dimension.

This one is going to live with my mother, who recently moved from her house into a small apartment with a front door that has a window in it. This will be perfect to hang there and spred a little Autumn happiness.

Thanks for joining me today - now it's time for Christmas!

Pumpkin Treats with Beth

Hello my crafty friends!  Happy Monday.  Beth from Beth's Beauties here with these cute pumpkin treats!  I decided to create these to welcome in the fall season.
The file I used is from JGW Autumn Aire.  You can find the tutorial for assemble HERE.  I cut them out of papers from DCWV's Pumpkin Patch stack and assembled them with Scotch tacky glue.  I chose to add a Ghirardelli chocolate inside and embellished with a bow of Spiced Pumpkin Trendy Twine.  These will be perfect to give to my boys for a fall treat!
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Christmas Centerpiece

Merry Christmas and happy 4th Sunday of Advent.

Today I want to show you the centerpiece I made for to nights Christmas Eve Table. The amazing Corn Husk Candle Ring from the JGW Autumn Aire kit.

I made it with Crepe paper in Gold instead of the corn husks (these are not available in Denmark) and AC Cardstock in Caramel.

It is so easy to make and with the crepe paper its so fast too. All you have to do with the paper is to curl it and glue it onto the ring.

Then I added a LED candle in the middle and decorated it with some hemp and rhinestone-look-alike ribbon. That's it.

Now it matches the rest of the table that I've chosen to keep in gold this year.

So now I'm off to celebrate Christmas Eve with my Family and I want to wish each and everyone of you a Merry Christmas and hope all your wishes comes true. It has been a fabulous dec. with lots of beautiful craft projects and I hope you got to make all of yours as I did mine. See you on the other side for New Years.
