Bells Will Be Ringing

Last Sunday I showed you some 3D Christmas ornaments I'd made and that kinda kick-started my brain to come up with some more.

I really enjoy making ornaments because I get to play with all my Christmas papers, get glitter all over the place and get to watch the beautiful ornament that I made on our Christmas Tree.

This Spring, SVG Attic released a kit called Liberty Lane and in this kit, you will find a 3D Liberty Bell Box that is perfect for 4th. of July but also for Christmas.

To make it into a Christmas Bell, I omitted the Yoke and used the panels without the crack.

I made two bells and they are downsized by 50%. I used the Bow 3D for Large Package that I also downsized by 50 % and the Sprigs from the Pine Sprigs Window A7 Card (also downsized but only slightly)

The Bells are hot glued together at an angle. I tied some gold twine onto the middle of the Bow and then added the Bow and Sprigs also with hot glue.

The Bells are made from AC Cardstock in Vanilla and Gold Glitter paper from Artemio. The Bow is made from patterned paper from Graphic 45's "St. Nicholas" and the Sprigs are made from green pearl paper.

Finally I also added two small gold Jinglebells at the bottom of the bells.

A very cute addition to my ornaments if I may say so myself.

Thanks for joining me on this 2nd. Sunday of Advent. I hope the rest of your day is filled with Christmas "hygge"

Happy Birthday Jodi!

Belongs to Frosty

Hello and happy 3rd Sunday in Advent.

Today I want to show you the cute Christmas decoration I made using the hat from the JGW Frosty Topper kit.

This was both a challenge and so much fun to make.

I used AC Cardstock in Black and Charcoal for the hat and added the snowflake made from double-sided adhesive sprinkled with glitter to make it look frosty.

Then I went to town with Fir Sprigs in Forrest AC Cardstock and Leafy Sprigs in Spinach along with a Pinecone in Chestnut AC Cardstock.

I also made him a Corncob 3d Pipe in AC Cardstock Butter and Caramel and two thick buttons in Sky, Blue Jay, Chestnut and Chocolate Cardstock and tied some white raffia onto them as string.

Finally I added some different decor pieces like the berries, the small glass baubles and the Spanish moss and Voila! It was done.

Usually I haven't got the first idea on how to make a Christmas Decoration - but I think I got away with this one - don't you?

Thanks for joining me today....Christmas is almost here, but I still have a few things up my sleeve.

Realistic Pine Cone

Hello - Thanks for joining me again today.

This time I want to show you the amazing and very realistic Pine Cone I made from a new kit from SVG Attic called JGW Christmas Botanica

For this rather large but absolutely delicious Pine Cone, I used 10 sheets of AC Cardstock Chocolate.

It is so easy to assemble and you can find the tutorial right here

I also made two Pine Sprigs from the Pine Sprigs A7 Card also to be found in the new kit.

They are made of two or in my case three layers and I used AC Cardstock in Forest and Pine.

Finally I tied a red ribbon onto it and ta daaa....all done.

Thanks for joining me today.

Santas Boots

Hello and happy 1st. Sunday of Advent :-)

Gosh! I've been waiting for this month all year - I just love Christmas and all the fantastic paper projects you can make this time of year.

For starters I want to show you this pair of boots I made from the JGW Santas Repose kit.

The boots are made from AC Cardstock in Charcoal, Black and White and the pine sprigs are also made in AC Cardstock in Forest and Spinach.

I decorated two of the sprigs with some green/gold shimmery paper and the panels for the shoelaces are DCWV Silver Mercury Glass Cardstock.

I also added a small bell on each boot along with some snowflakes from my stash.

These boots are awesome as they are but I chose to use them as decoration with some candy canes.

Thanks for joining me today - I'll be back later with some more Christmas projekts
