Wedding Wishes with Angeline

It's a brand new week and there is a new kit in store!
Angeline here to share with you JGW Wedding Wishes kit.

In this kit, there is a box card which is just perfect for my friend who is getting married soon!

SVG Attic: Wedding wishes with Angeline #svgattic #scrappyscrappy #weddingwishes #boxcard #card

I've used sweet pinks and neutral colors for that softer look, with the exception of the rings in shimmer gold and the diamond in clear shimmer :)

I've embossed the wedding gown and added some lace and tulle to create a fuller skirt.

Hidden right behind the card is this beautiful bouquet of flowers :)

BEST part about these box cards are that you can fold it FLAT when you give it to your friend -- then they can proudly display it later! :)

Tent Cards and Fishing Line with Lisa

Hi everyone!
Lisa here from The Crafting Cave sharing a few Summer cards

I used one double-sided 12x12 piece of paper for the card base and envelope, one piece of colored cardstock for the insert, fishing line to suspend the stickers and enamel dots to finish it off. I used a sketch pen for the sentiment in the cards and on the yellow envelope. I typed the sentiment into the Silhouette Studio software, then let the machine and pen do the work for me. This works out perfectly
when you are using paper that is patterned on one side and solid on the other.

More details and supplies are listed on my blog, The Crafting Cave.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Baby Bottle Card and Headband with Beth

Hello all!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here, and I am the proud aunt of a new niece and created this card and headband as part of the gift I gave for her.  The baby bottle is a shaped card from SVG Attic's Rockabye Baby cards.  That set has such a darling collection of baby shaped cards!
I was going for a more vintage look with the card so I used a pre-die cut butterfly, added fun buttons, and a double bow of Chocolate Cupcake Trendy Twine to the bottom of the card.  I also inked around the edges of the die cuts and added liquid pearl dots in various places.
I also created this rose headband for her to wear.  I purchased the stretchy lace and stitched it into a headband.  For the rose, I once again used Chocolate Cupcake Trendy Twine and crocheted it into what you see here!  I glued an alligator clip on the back so the rose would be interchangeable with other bows.
In light of sharing this project with lots of SVG Attic and Trendy Twine in it, I want to invite you to join us for a joint blog hop between these two!  Just click on the picture below to be taken to the Facebook event.  Click JOIN on that event to be reminded when the hop starts this Saturday at 7AM Central Time.
We hope to see you there!  There will be FOUR awesome prizes to win :)

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

4th of July Boot ~ with Cyndy

I just love the new JGW My Hero kit.  I decided to make the Boot for my project today.

3d paper boot with pinwheels

I wanted to use the boot as a centerpiece so I added pinwheels from the JGW USA Ensemble kit.

Pinwheels

These pinwheels are so cute and they where very easy to put together.

Pinwheel

These pinwheels would look great in a bucket, bottle, vase or just about anything else you can think of and you can make customize them for any holiday or occasion with your choice of paper.  I hope you have enjoyed my project today.

Do what inspires you,
Cyndy G.

SVG Attic Guest Designer - Melissa Miranda

Hey, it is Melissa here from M Miranda Creations and I am excited to be Guest Designing again today for you here on the SVG Attic blog! I hope you are having an awesome Wednesday!!!

Well, you might remember that my first post this month was baby themed, and I am still in the baby mood!!! Sssh! I have a baby shower to help plan soon, so it is on my mind!!!

For this fun gift box, I used the Cottontail Bunny Kit and the Baby Boy Kit.

I really like to watch little boys when they are fascinated by a plane, train, or automobile. If fact, some cute little plastic transportation toys might be the perfect thing to stuff in this box. It would also be the perfect size for some socks or onesies to give you a few ideas. The finished box is 5" W x 3.5" H x 1.75" L (deep). For more information on the supplies used to create this, stop by my blog.

Thank you for dropping in today and I hope you will stop by the SVG Attic store to see all the fun SVG collections they have for you there.

Blessings,

Down By The Sea with Lisa

Hi everyone! Lisa, from The Crafting Cave with you today, sharing
a Down By The Sea Party.

SVG Attic Cape Cod Collection

has a lot of elements that can be used in so many ways.
We are having a Down By The Sea themed
party and I took advantage of those great elements.

Starting with invitations:
SVG Attic Cape Cod Collection
I used DCWV Seaside Yacht to create the party.
I layered the invites with white, greys, reds and blues
for a nautical feel. The inside has a pocket I created
to insert the invite into.

Every party needs a banner or two!
SVG Attic Cape Cod Collection
The banner is cut from SVG Attic's The Sweet Shop Collection and the lettering is from
SVG Attic's The Nested Alphabet. The Starfish and Sea Shell banner is from
You can use eyelets or brads to connect several of these together to make one long
banner or keep them short for cupcake wrappers.

Fish Netting and Lobsters make great decorations.
I cut the fish netting in half and connected them with eyelets to use
around the food table.
SVG Attic Cape Cod Collection

There's so much more you can do with this collection.
Layouts, Home Decor, Cards and Mini Albums
just a names a few.

I hope you have an amazing weekend!
And remember,

1st Birthday Card with Beth

My sweet niece (and Godchild) just turned one!  I was debating at what kind of card to make for her when I finally decided to create the one you see here.
She had pink and flowers for her birthday theme, which helped me decide on the papers and embellishments.  The 1 cut files are from the Nested Numbers set at SVG Attic.  This card could easily be created with any age.  Or you could even use their Nested Alphabet to make this card with a monogram instead of the age.
I used layers of foam tape between layers of the number to add lots of dimension.  For embellishments, I used crinkled seam binding, Pinkberry Sorbet Trendy Twine and lots of fun buttons.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Pineapple Drink

Hello and Happy Monday!  Tanya from Crafting on Caffeine here and today is my I-Team Day.  When I saw both of these files I knew just what I wanted to do!  This so makes me want a tropical island drink. Hope you enjoy!

The Base is the pineapple from JGW Tropical Haven collection

The umbrella and turtle are from JGW Tiki Luau Kit. I added a bow to the top of the umbrella and some bling to the turtle.

Down on the Farm

I can't believe how fast time flies.  As summer quickly approaches and temperatures rise, I am reminded of how much I have missed fresh tomato sandwiches!  My children love to visit Maple Spring Farms, it is one of our favorite outings.  In the spring we pick strawberries and in the summer we love their blackberries.  I also enjoy visiting the Farmer's Market.  My project today is in honor of all our local farmers, summer just won't be the same without you!

Barn box with pig, sheep, chicken and cow

I used Down on the Farm and the square box from SDS Basic Deep Lid Boxes (without the lid).

Barn box with cow, pig, sheep, and chicken
I sized the box as big as it would go on my mat.  The finished size is 4x4.
Just the right size for the cube of foam I used to stick the tubes in.

Chicken

I think the farm animals are adorable!  I love them all.

Sheep

Cow

Tractor

I hope you have enjoyed my project today.  Don't forget to thank your local farmer!
