Trio Birthday Cards with Beth

Hello my crafty friends!  Happy Monday.  Beth from Beth's Beauties here with these three trio cards.
I really love this side profile sunflower trio card that is part of the JGW Sunflower Sunshine kit.  I used papers from Fancy Pants' Time for Spring 6x6 paper pad and wrapped Krazy for Kraft Trendy Twine around it.
The other two cards are for nephews of mine.  The patterned papers on both are from DCWV's Boyhood stack.  The rocket trio card is from SVG Outta This World kit.  I embellished with Rainbow Glossy Dots and stamped a sentiment from Pretty Cute Stamps' Super Sentiments stamp set.
The final card is the Baseball Bat Trio Card file and is embellished with Berries Jubilee Trendy Twine and the stamps I used are from Pink and Main's Birthday Wishes stamp set.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Don't Get Hooked!

Happy Friday, everyone. Lisa from The Relativity of Paper bringing you today's post. I'm sharing two fun projects that are perfect for the "fisher-person" in your life. I used artificial baits to decorate the hat and card. Hence, don't get hooked!

I started with the Fishing 3D Bucket Hat. This hat is so cute and super easy to put together. I thought I might toss a few pieces of candy or a pack of cashews in the hat.  You could even put a pack of hooks and a small bobber in it.

Of course, you have to have a card to celebrate a birthday. So I created the Fishing Vest A7 Card and Envelope

I used Jelly Bean Green 12 x 12 100lb cardstock and a piece of 12 x 12 Jillibean Soup patterned paper from my stash to create the pockets, the band on the hat and as an accent piece on the envelope flap. To cut the pocket flaps and "gone" I used a scrap piece of 12 x 12 red paper.
I had to add the recipients initials on the vest.

I really enjoyed creating these pieces and I know my "fisher-person" is going to like them, too.
He better or else!

As always, thanks for joining us today.

Outta This World Box Card with Beth

Happy Monday morning!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here today with this space themed box card and envelope.  I wanted to make something special for a nephew's birthday, and this is what I decided on.
I used the box card and envelope files from SVGA Outta This World.  I mainly used solid colord cardstock on everything.  Isn't that space scene fun?!
I stamped the sentiment from Pretty Cute Stamps with VersaFine black ink on the cloud.  I assembled everything with Craft Tacky Glue and used foam tape to pop up the cloud.  The best part is that it all folds flat to ship in the included envelope!
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Mix and Match to Create a Beautiful Pampering Gift Set

Tracy here from the Idea Closet.

Tomorrow is the birthday for a very special friend. To help celebrate, I created this little gift set for her using files from SVG Attic and Snap Dragon Snippets.

I mixed and matched parts from 3 different files to make the little pampering set.

Part 1 is the Tote Bath Fizzer Ball.
The file comes with two sizes and a tag.  I used the larger size.

The tag is layered but I added  even more layers to make the top piece stand out.

The Gift Envelope  is the second part and could be used in so many ways.
The file was actually designed to be used with Bath Salts but you could fill it with many other things too.
I used the tag from the Tote for the envelope as well.

On both projects, I added the flowers and vine from the Tag 3D Flowers file.
For the envelope I left them the size they came in and for the tote I shrunk them down just a little.
Add pearls to the middle and they make the perfect embellishment.

I hope you (and my friend) will enjoy the little pampering gift set.

Thank you for joining me.

Boho Style Birthday Cards with Beth

Happy Monday morning!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here today with these fun boho style birthday cards.
I have a couple special birthdays to send cards out for in the next month, so I wanted to get those cards created in plenty of time.  The first card is cut from the SnapDragon Snippets Cupcake Scallop Double Bi-Fold Card.  The papers I used are from DCWV's Boho Style stack.  It has gorgeous copper foil treatment on some of the papers that add lots of visual interest to the project.
For embellishments, I added Totally Red Trendy Twine and GMD Citrus Twist enamel dots.
Here is the open view of the card!  The sentiment is cut from a scrap of brown vinyl.  That is what I use a lot for sentiments because you always get a perfect cut and the adhesive is already on the back.
The second card uses the SDS GC Sleeve Decor Happy Birthday file.  Once again, I used papers from the same stack.  I created an A2 card base, then added the SVG cuts to the front of that.
To embellish, I used small bows of Twisted Lime Trendy Twine on the balloons and clear Nuvo Crystal Drops on the confetti dots.  The yellow layer is popped up with foam tape.  Other adhesives used on both cards include ATG and Lineco Adhesive.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Gift Box ~ with Cyndy G.

Hello, today I am sharing a pretty box from SVG Attic/Snapdragon.  It is the Tall Box with Lid.  This is a very nice size and it is easy to put together.  It makes a perfect gift box.  You could decorate it for an occasion.  I have used Graphic 45 - Time to Celebrate because I am going to use mine for a birthday.

I used some crinkle ribbon around the box and a button as the accent on top.  You could also use a large bead or a draw pull.  I just love this ribbon!

The box stands just over 9" tall and is 4" square.  Thank you for stopping by.

Coffee Cup Cards with Beth

Good morning and happy Monday!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here with you today to share these fantastic cards.
I used a file from SDS Coffee Break.  It was meant to be a hidden gift card holder, but I just omitted the center part of the card and also didn't use the shaped card base.  I sized the remaining pieces to fit on an A2 card.  I made this one with neutral cardstocks from Pebbles' Lakeside paper pad.
The other two were more fall themed since I used DCWV's Sweater Weather papers on them.  I inked the edges with brown chalk ink and crimped the coffee cup wrapper for extra interest.  Embellishments include Chocolate Truffle and Spiced Pumpkin Trendy Twines and sequins.  One of these went to one of my fellow SVG Attic I-Team sisters for her birthday!

Here is a look at the set that I used the file from:

Aged to Perfection

Hello - Helle here with a small post, just to show you a gift I made for my girlfriend and her husband.
She turnes 50 and he turned 60 this fall and we were invited to celebrate both.

So what do you make for such a couple? Well SVG Attic had the answer:

The Aged to Perfection kit contains among others this Wine Cask Gift Box and Vintage Card that I found to be perfect for the occasion.

I made the barrel in AC Cardstock and patterned paper from Simple Stories and added Jodi's grapes from the JGW Communion of Faith kit. Those grapes are a bit time consuming but once you get the idea of how they go together, it's just easy peasy.

The Vintage Card is also made from AC Cardstock and Simple Stories patterned paper. I quadrupled the numbers and added some rosegold foil for some shine. I also dotted the letters and stars with a white Sharpie.

The gift was money and I added a small pouch inside the card for them. Then I took some shredded wood and filled up the barrel along with some candies

And they loved it :-)

Thanks for stopping by today. Don't forget to write me a little something on your way out :-)

High Heeled Birthday with Beth

Hello all!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here.  Today I am sharing a 40th birthday card.
This started out with the shaped princess slipper ribbon card from JGW Off To The Ball, but since I wanted to have a larger card, I didn't use the layer to make the shaped card base.  I simply glued it to a 5x7 card base.  The papers I used are from DCWV's All Dressed Up, Glitzy Glitter, and Metallic stacks.  The ribbon is crinkled seam binding.
I used the nested scalloped circle cuts from SDS Fun In The Sun and added a 40 in my cutting software to the top circle.  Those layers were popped up with foam tape.
Here is a look at the set that I used:

Sail Away with Lisa

Hi and welcome everyone! Lisa from The Relativity of Paper and today I'm sharing a fun pirate themed card with you. My first thought was this would be a great hand-delivered invitation for a small pirate themed birthday party.
Again, I let my paper inspire me with this. The Double Diamond card from the JGW Welcome to BOO-Ville is so much fun and worked perfectly with the SDS Pirate Ship

Here's the card opened up and you can see how this would be a lot of fun for that pirate themed party with a treasure hunt.

You can find all the details on my blog, The Relativity of Paper.

As always, thanks for joining us!

Cruise Ship Card with Beth

Hello crafty friends! Beth from Beth's Beauties here with you today. I am sharing the cruise ship card that I made for my sister's birthday.  Her husband surprised her with an Alaskan cruise for her birthday present, so I went with that theme for her card.

The card and envelope files are from JGW Paris Voyage.  The "celebrate" sentiment is from JGW Take the Cake.  I used papers from DCWV's Silver Leaf and Peri & Peach stacks to create this card.  I embellished with Bubblegum Taffy Trendy Twine and GMD Soft Pink Pearls.
I love that this card has a coordinating envelope file to go with it!

Here is a look at the JGW Paris Voyage set:

The paper I used is from Graphic 45 - A Time To Celebrate.

Birthday card

I also used some Tickled Pink and Tickled with Teal Trendy Twine as the string on my balloons.

I personalized it by adding my nieces' name to the banner and popped it with some foam tape.  This card is very easy to customized for any person young/old or boy/girl - all by the paper you select.
