Easter Basket with Beth

I have been so eager for spring to be here and it finally is!  So for today's project, I couldn't help but make an Easter basket filled with goodies.
The file I used for the basket itself is from the Charmingly Green set at SVG Attic and I used the shamrock bowl.  All I did was take the shamrocks out of the cutting files so the sides of my basket were blank.  I also added two handles on it simply by cutting two pieces of green cardstock at .75"x6" and adhering them to the inside of the basket.
On the sides I made a white circle that was 2.25" tall and embossed it with my Swiss Dots embossing folder.  I popped those up with pop dots.  Then I used the chick and bunny peeps from the Easter Fun set and sized them to fit nicely in the circle.
I cut one chick and one bunny out of each color of cardstock, added chalk ink, doodle dots and even a white felt circle for the bunny tails :)
Here is a close up of one of the sides.
Last I added 5 buttons to each of the handles just to add a little more character and finished it off with a beautiful bow of rumpled ribbon and a tag with a stamped sentiment.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

DT Wednesday with Tee

Easter Egg Holder or is it a Stickles Holder?

When I first saw this Easter Egg holder from SVGAttic I knew right away what I wanted to do with it and it had NOTHING to do with Easter or Eggs.... STICKLES Holder - YAY....

The original file is 8" which was a little big for what I wanted so I resized it to 7.37 and it was perfect.

I just need 4 or 5 more to hold my collection. :)

DT Day with Sandra

Hi everyone it's Sandra here and it's my day to post on the SVG Attic Blog , hope you are having a great St. Patty's Day so far! For today's project I made an Easter Bunny Treat Box holding Whopper Egg candies for my son's Easter basket. I LOVE the way this box is shaped, while I was assembling it a thought came to my mind...... this box would also be perfect to hold cards and envelopes and/or 4x6 photos! This box measures 4x6 inches and I stamped the sentiment and also added a little cotton tail using a Christmas pom pom from Joann's. I cut this box out using my SCAL 3 along with my Cameo.

The set I used here is called EASTER FUN and comes with a bunch of cute 3D Easter items!
