Graduation Card and Layout with Beth

Happy Saturday!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here with you today.  I decided to go with a graduation theme since my 6 year old is going to have his Kindergarten graduation soon and talks about it every day!
First I created the step card from the JGW Up For Grads set.  I used the school colors for the card.  I created a tassel out of Totally Red Trendy Twine for the hat.
Then I made the matching envelope that is included in that set.
Then I created an 8.5x11" graduation layout that is from the Hat's Off SVG Collection.  It is actually a 12x12" layout in the set, but I imported all the pieces into my software and sized them all to fit on a 8.5x11" sheet of paper.
I added some stickers that came with the paper pack along with the SVG's.  I also placed some homemade enamel dots on the page.
I popped up the numbers with foam tape and added a bow of Celebration Trendy Twine.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Hats Off to the Grad -- with Julie

Hello, and happy Tuesday, crafty friends! Julie Odil here today from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers
I've needed a bunch of Graduation cards this year, so I'm glad I found this super cute, really easy SVG file that I could make whenever I needed a card QUICK.  It's part of the SVG Attic kit, "Up for Grads".  I find out the school colors of the graduate, and can make the card to fit those colors.
Here it is in maroon and gold:

and here's a version in blue and red:

The inside has a place for a gift card, if you choose to cut it that way.  Very cool!
The SVG Attic design team and the Snapdragon Snippets design team are having a blog hop on June 7. Please hop with us! It all starts on the SVG Attic blog.

Our designer Jodi G. Warner has been making some amazing sets lately!  Here are three of her newest ones...

Aren't these all amazing?!  If you are wondering, Jodi also makes wonderful written tutorials for many of her files.  You can find those tutorials on her blog http://needlesnknowledge.blogspot.com/

If you make these or any of our other SVG Attic files, enter them into our Anything Goes Contest for the month of May and share them on our Facebook page!

Graduation 2014 Card with Beth

This is a graduation card that I made using the Up For Grads files from SVG Attic.
Instead of making the card a shaped card like is included in the file, I simply added it to the front of a card base.  I added a lot of dimension with foam tape and the gold glitter paper really shines (DCWV's Glitzy Glitter).  I customized the colors to match the school's colors for a personal touch.
I used twine and wrapped it around the base several times for the finishing embellishment.

If you make any project using SVG Attic files, don't forget to link it up to our May Anything Goes Contest! There are awesome prizes up for grabs!
