Visiting Santa

Hello SVG Attic members! Guest Designer Sonja here. Today, I bring you a project using multiple SVG Attic files.

When I started brainstorming for ideas on what I wanted to do, I knew I wanted to use the Santa chair.

After I made the Santa chair, I took a look at my collection of SVG Attic files and I knew I had to do the train.

But wait, you cannot have the Polar Express without a working light! 

While making the train, it just came to me. Why not do a scene of what Santa's chair looks like when my children visit him! 

So what are the things you would see while visiting Santa? 

His boots of course! 

And what is Christmas without a tree and gifts below?! 

Santa has to check this twice so it is very important that we know where his list is! 

Now put it all together and what do you get?

Back To School with Lisa

Hi everyone! Lisa from The Crafting Cave bringing you a little 

Back To School Step Card and Gift Card Book.

I used SVG Attic's Right Step Card base. 

These cut files will save you a lot of time and headache.

I used SVG Attic's Back to School to create all the cutouts.

Lots of cutting and layering but the end result was worth it. 

I decided this card needed a book filled with gift cards and flash cards

to go with it. So I used SVG Attic's Santa's List Gift Card Book.

I laid the flash cards out in the picture but they will actually store under the gift cards. 

 The flash cards are by SnapDragon Snippets, you can purchase them in the 

Silhouette Store. They are a print and cut item but I used my sketch pen

and then cut them. I absolutely love my sketch pens for times like this. 

I don't have to run to the printer. I can do everything at once saving me some time.  

I laminated them too.

The paper is from my stash. It's old (2009), Martha Stewart 

Kids 12x12 Paper Pad. The stamp is by Kaisercraft, another oldie.

 You know I'm always surprised at how easily these projects 

come together.

 Inside:

I really love the way this box turned out! I have it sitting in our living room

now and just looking at the box makes me remember all of our 

magical moments.

Once Upon A Springtime - Book ~ with Cyndy

I was very excited when Graphic 45 started releasing Collector's Editions.  I knew it was only a matter of time before Once Upon A Springtime would be released.  Luckily I didn't have to wait very long and I knew just what I wanted to make.

I used the Santa's List Gift Card Book from SDS Santa's Workshop.  I love all the dimensional projects I have seen using this paper and I felt this book set off the title page perfectly!

I left out the gift card holder and eliminated the center side of both halves.  This allowed me to use the book as a frame.

 I hand cut the pieces I wanted to add dimension too and used foam tape to pop them out.

I just love how everything turned out!  Thank you for stopping by, I hope you enjoyed my project.
