Top of the Morning and Charmingly Green with Christi

St. Patrick's  Day is right around the corner and I thought I would take two of my favorite kits and make some of my favorites in them for house decorations.

We will start with the SDS Charmingly Green Collection.

I made the Pot O' Gold Box out of AC Black Cardstock and filled it with yummy Chocolate gold pieces.  (Which by the way is NOT easy to find in my town for some reason.)    I then put the pretty Irish ribbon I got on clearance at JoAnn's last year after St. Patrick's Day.  ( I LOVE a bargain! )

I then made the 3d Leprechaun Hat.  I used AC Cardstock Shamrock Green and topped it with glitter paper and used Gold foil cardstock for the belt buckle.

Last but far from least JGW Top O the Mornin' Collection.

With this collection I made for my centerpiece the Large Shamrock on a stick.  I LOVED how this turned out!  I again used Shamrock AC cardstock  and  My Minds Eye Printed cardstock from my stash.  I topped it off with green gems on the front of the box and on the swirls of the clover but in the picture they are hard to see.  I then tied that same wonderful bargain ribbon on the stem.

My only hope is I gave you some inspiration to decorate for St. Patty's day!

I have enjoyed my time as guest designer here at SVG Attic and thank you all for having me!  Until next time!

Blessings,

Love Letter Mailbox With Christi

Good Morning ! Christi here from Scrapping For Tranquility
 .
With Valentine's Day around the corner, I wanted to make something stunning to decorate my couch table.  It is the first thing you see if you come in my front door.  When I laid eyes on the JGW Love Letters Mailbox, I knew just what I wanted to do.

Of Course Jodi again gives you a wonderful tutorial to help put this together and it is rather helpful.  She is so detailed in her step by step tutorials that it makes her crafts such a breeze.
I used one of my favorite girly stacks from Hobby Lobby to put this together and  Polka Dot Cardstock from Joanns.  My Solid Cardstock is AC Cardstock.

I then added the heart brads and other embellishments.
What I really like about this Mailbox is I made one for each of my grandkids for the classrooms at school and they can have their Valentine Cards put in them.   I let them decorate it how they wanted to .  They had a blast doing so.   There is soooo many uses for this beautiful mailbox. Wedding cards, Beth made a Christmas one.  Folks let's see what you can come up with!  I would love to see your mailbox's!  I hope you all have a wonderful Valentine's Day and thank you for joining me on the SVG ATTIC Blog today!  Blessings!

Mourner's Hat By Christi

Good Morning!  It is a beautiful , crisp  Sunday here and I wanted to share a Halloween project with you.  I choose the unique Mourner's hat in the JGW Raven Quest Collection.

I am always looking for unique Halloween decorations for Halloween.  It is my youngest daughter's favorite holiday.  She even got married on Halloween 2 years ago and collects many beautiful pieces to keep up all year round.  I thought this was something she could add to her collection.

Here are some close ups of the Flowers which are made by Prima.  I just fell in love with these flowers when I found them and they have been in my stash FOREVER and was saving them for that special project.  Well....this was that project.

Next came the bling!  Every project isn't complete without a little bit of bling!  This is Paper Studio from Hobby Lobby.

Last by not least I made the bow but added Mays art Black Ribbon to the center and around the brim of the hat.  I also added  a beautiful full purple feather and a small turquoise with black feather for that small touch of extra color.

I hope you have enjoyed my mourner's hat as much  I did making it .  Have a wonderful Sunday and a BEAUTIFUL week!

Blessings!
